This is like a double edge sword. Though I am crawling with W7/Firefox , it still has issues with some sites, especially Banks. Edge would not longer run on my system and even if I get around the browser issue, I also continue to get a Browser warning, but in reality it's for W7/8.1. Gmail is now also barking about Firefox compatibility.

Since Waterfox dropped support for w7, I would also recommend R3dfox as the most stable modern firefox fork. I have been using it for a while and is the most reliable browser I have on w7 currently.

I still want to test the latest port of waterfox (6.5), although it's older, and some chromium-based ports like Chrome and Edge by Blaukovitch and by the chinese master student that was mentioned (I have an older Chrome port by Blaukovitch but it has a major bug in x64 version, so only x86 is recommended as stable)

R3dfox, yes. But Librewolf (the unpatched release) does not, and has not for a long time. I guess since 116.0, as they're upstream releases.

Thanks. Have both downloaded in Portable versions but have only used R3dfox since there is almost zero learning curve. The MajorGeeks & their website indicates LibreWolf is compatible w/Win7. The version is current with latest Firefox ( less the time it takes to alter latest FF release for use). Have not tried it myself.

I just PeaZipped the file & attempted to run LibreWolf. As you point out "Problems". Update would not/could not connect & then main program refused to start ERROR. Thank you. I will now suggest R3dFox only as well. LibreWolf would NOT work on my Win7 Home Premium Acer laptop 12 year old system as of their March 2026 release. So far R3dFox has given me no problems.

I have been using R3dfox for a few days now and pretty happy with it. It is much faster then Firefox and not a resource hog. With Firefox, I could not get into my bank account since they wanted W10/11 and the latest browser, but with R3dfox, not only does it think I do not have W7, but the browser also passes. Another problem with Firefox is BITWARDEN addon since I store all my passwords. Bitwarden and Firefox/W7 would not let me login, but I now can with R3dfox.

Has anyone else had issues with r3dfox-149.0.2 loading under Win10/11? r3dfox-148.0.2 works fine, but one I update, it flat out gives a blank screen. r3dfox-149.0.2 works fine for W7/8.1.

Anyone else having graphics issues in this forum with Supermium?

There are some unrelated sites where Supermium is my best browser, but my first time using it here looks bad.
