I just did another look. The mirrors pop up sort of randomly. Click the download button on Sourceforge, then when the file download shows up, cancel it. Now click on "try another mirror" and choose from the list. What I thought I remembered as Post NY, is actually Pilot NY. It's fast. If you don't see it in the list, try again.
Deepin Linux is not very good for touch screen PC. I tried it for more than a month and it's a good Linux distro with its aesthetic user interface. It's more or less Windows 10 with less features.
I tried Deepin' long ago and it was not "it" from the start, speaking from memory... Now, it is another level, muchly improved! But it's a different world, if you know what I mean... Its apps are cool to see but many old ones are missing and it seems not simple to install (from memory)... I tried searching for solutions in terms of drivers (no sound from speakers, for instance - but OK through the external speakers/headphones) etc. Frustrating - and I tried like 10 different distros... It seems to me they all use the same kernel, with the same problems, sometimes with fewer old HW drivers and nobody finds a solution and then fixes it, really - in some of these "harder" cases... Forums are frequently quite sketchy when searching for fixes, where some kinda semi-explanation is written and somebody says "OK, I had to improvise but it works" without explaining the method etc. In the end I had to install Win10, much to my despair... Slow but working...
