Hi there. Since Wednesday until today I have been formatting 4 times because I can not find a way to disable the windows defender without damaging something of the operating system. I try manually from gpedit.msc, then I use Autoruns and effectively disable windows defender, but the system becomes slow, the start of the egde browser and some applications downloaded from the store takes a long time to open. If I use a script that I downloaded from the "TeamOS" website, it also disables windows defender but some applications of the system (notepad, clipping and annotation, and etc..) stop working, in fact I would say that stop working all pre-installed applications of the system, and those in particular I need (the other bloatware I don't care). Anyway, at the moment in this new formatting I have the damn windows defender enabled but I want to get rid of it (if possible), I do not like that "it" is running in the background sucking RAM, but I have the feeling that with the latest updated version of windows 11, playing the windows defender brings to stay with the O.S. damaged, to see if you can tell me some script / application of confidence to delete and disable it without leaving me the S.O silly. Greetings and thank you!
I use Control Defender Switch 2.01 to deactivate Windows defender and it works well for me, you can also activate it whenever you want
That what happens if you are using s**t os tools .. My tool is just based on other tools So basically is not completely my .. ( Don't really care .. mine .. not mine .. who cares )
Somehow in s**t os .. forum They love to share scripts that remove defender completely Knowing it can lead to trouble in future With windows update or other problems But who cares .. let's remove it . ( Admit I did it too, at first, but change my mind quickly)
Hello, thank you. Do you have a link for the download?. Greetings Hello, what is your tool? would you remove "antimalware service executable" that works in the background? Thank you very much!
Thank you. I downloaded it and tried it. I have the same problem as always, if it is true that disables me windows defender but brings with it some collateral damage. The edge browser (when I restart after disabling windows defender), the edge browser the first start makes it very slow, also any application downloaded from the microsoft store (including ccleaner), and games from the XBOX application (gamepass) also takes longer to start I follow the instructions in the video (disable real time protection and tamper protection first). What I don't get, after disabling windows defender, is the menu of "exclusions" that, I give to add to exclusions but I don't get the video. My version of Windows 11 is the PRO 22H2 compilation 22621.1635
Ok, I just realized that I don't have "exc tool 1.3", is it necessary to have it? where do I download it from? The Genbeta thing is the method I used before but the result is the same as with this one, microsoft edge takes a long time to start after logging in, and some games and application from the store and the XBOX application take a long time to load.
If the problem is that I do it also with Firefox, the first opening (after logging in) is very slow, then if it opens fast (in the same session), but if I restart and start a new session, then the start of any browser is slow. And then I can not download anything from the microsoft store, it does not update anything. I do not know why but in my case disabling the damn defender leaves me the operating system semi-damaged, see if anyone sheds light. This has started to do it since an update that microsoft released somewhere in March or so, it coincided with that update that made SSD's super slow. I say this because in my previous installation I had the windows update stopped since March with windows defender removed and everything was perfect, but when updating started to do this s**t, I blamed it on that same (before), had the OS something damaged. Then I took the opportunity to buy a samsung 980 PRO 2 Tb to make a zero installation with the completely new OS, and disabling windows defender again the same thing happens as with the previous installation, which seems that Microsoft touched something in the month of March or so. I also thought that the "optimizer" application could somehow interfere with this. Apart from the optimizer, I just disabled the "high precision event timer" (from the device manager), and also from some powershell commands. Anyway, I don't know what could be going on, let's see if an expert can guide me because I'm having a really hard time with this issue. Best regards
