now they made it sticky... the world is going to end ... no hope. dead serious you can use some registry trick to stop the defender tool and set some service as [4] state == Disabled and keep it, to avoid problems [CU updates, 22h2 updates, can fail] your system will be fine even with Defender disabled - because files, services, packages are found... and it can be reverted back if you need it in future it stays in a frozen state ..........
there is no point now. you already remove it completely [ same thing you complain about, in the first place ] but I guess you have plenty of time to re-install the system, after you face a problems ..... Code: Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SecurityHealthService" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Sense" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WdBoot" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WdFilter" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WdNisDrv" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WdNisSvc" /f >nul 2>&1 Reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinDefend" /f >nul 2>&1
defender has become so integrated to windows is becoming harder to tweak it with out damaging the OS is some manner.
This is not very wise talk. Nothing will not deleted if you don't want it yourself, even if there is whatever malware, it will not touched. And there is no script needed at all and never, simply open settings and select what and where shoud somethong checked and what to do with suspicious files. Thats it.
Please can you tell me more? If I have in d:/softwares/winrar/keygen the keygen.Exe file (always deleted from defender) , do you help me for doing what you said? Step by step please. Thanks
Open Defender go to table Virus & threat protection find Manage settings go to Exclusions and clik on Add or remove exclusions if new table opens, there is drop-down menu + Add an exclusion now select what you want to add, ie is it folder, is it file, is it some kond file type or some process and follow the directions Usually all takes effect immidiately, but if don't, restart computer. Now you can test and if something still don't work, can reset or protect for example whole folder or directory and also file itself by file name with its extensions. I can say only that for me it have always worked perfectly with all Windows versions. Currently I'm on Windows 10, but if tried Windows 11, it also worked fine.
