[DISCUSSION] UUP dump - download Windows 10/11 UUPs with ease

where can i download your uup script to download the uup files then gennerate the iso?

In other words if you want to get the feature update you need to get that one other wise get the other In my case I wanted the feature kb catched just to be sure this is the real deal still no ga

 

I don't really understand what you mean, but upgrades will work fine with the iso made without the du for sources. i doubt many even know about the copy/paste files.

In the past some people even reported errors when using the du for sources at forehand and @murphy78 even advised to just let the upgrade setup download them.

 

I'm talking about in my case a in place upgrade from 1903 to 1909 and still be able to uninstall kb4517245-x64 afterwards because some stuff ain't ready yet and fully working on my side so it's all confusing what the new strategy is from ms because 1903 has all the new features all ready under the hood

Thanks, so, if I understand correctly, with feature update you can uninstall some updates if you want after the OS install, with Comulative update, you can not do that.

Am i right?

 

No the only difference is that feature update will integrate a du for safeos, and one for updating the sources folder on the iso, both only meant for upgrade scenarios.
