    Looking for one that will do the lot in one go.

    I know 7zip does some but too clunky to use.

    The older I have been using for decades do not do the newest types.

    Thanks

    @Oz

    Since the program is essentially a shell extension, the underlying NSIS installer probably caught an exception while registering it. Simply restarting the explorer process should be enough for such cases.

    @Tito

    Yeah I understand that, just rare I see restarts required. But I guess since it replaces the old program in the shell, I can understand.

    It certainly does the job, awesome, thanks again. Exactly what I was after.

    I looked at the OpenHashTab.
    It's nice tool, absolutely :worthy:, but I can't help my self asking:
    How many different checksum's are needed before it's believed to be legit?
    I mean, is there a better checksum than the one posted by original developer of "some data"?

    :tumbleweed:

    Normally, only one strong, unbroken checksum algo with a very low risk of collisions is enough. Unfortunately, the problem is that almost everyone considers a different checksum algo as being the best. Thus, the tools need to be able to check all of them.

    My personally used checksum is BLAKE3.

    Indeed :) - agree.
    Agree, but how many tools do you need to check your checksum?

    Is this tool (as an example) better than others, is it usefull software (concider developer are looking for donations) up against alredy existing tools?
    There are no new groundbreaking checksum algos embeded...

    Well, choice, obviously. And there is no one tool supporting all ciphers. Plus, some of them are no longer updated, like Hashtab.
