After the upgrade, my Bluetooth was working sluggish. Now I have to reinstall the driver every time I startup my pc. The driver is, according to the Device Manager, corrupted. Only a third-party tool (BluetoothDriverInstaller_x64) fixes the issue, but I don't get it that I have to use it on every startup.
Update regarding the Windows 8 RP freeze issue workaround. Now that I no longer have quite as many Firefox windows and tabs open, I haven't had the issue where the PC started to crawl the day after a reboot. That sucks. Hopefully this issue will disappear for you when it RTMs, and/or an updated driver is released.
Blank Metro Tiles Windows 8 RP (Solved) How to fix all updated metro apps tiles going blank all of a sudden you need to uninstall sage thumbs or xnveiw or any program that as changed Windows 8 default image file associations and also beware of installing unsupported Java Version 7 Update 5.
Java 7 Update 5's downloaded installer is corrupted every time I wanna install it. So forget about it.
If you would like, I can upload either/both the x86 and x64 JDK (I use Android so I like to have the JDK, but it doesn't hurt if you only use it for the JRE purposes) to alternate download sites for you. I've used both successfully. I often find that on x64 Windows that it's handy to have both the x64 and x86 installed. Some things expect the x86 even on a x64 system. Just let me know.
I don't use it, since JDK 7 uses another checksum for keystores, which doesn't allow me to use Google Maps when writing Android apps.
Really? Good to know. Sorry about the off topic, all, but so do you mean JDK 6 does allow you to use Google Maps, or you mean just the JRE 7?
Yeah, JDK 6 uses MD5 checksums, JDK 7 uses SHA1 checksums, but the Google Map can only support JDK 6 MD% checksums keystore. BTW, some interesting find. Sounds like Microsoft has forgotten to change something... They've missed the File Recovery thing. It's still Windows 7!!!!!!
Thanks again for the info! Sounds like I need to keep a copy of JDK 6 around. I wondered why they still kept updating JDK6 when they have JDK 7 and JDK 8 Preview too already.

My current state of Windows 8 Release Preview is uhm.. weird. The startup item list is incomplete, it doesn't show everything. Seeking on a Youtube video in IE10 is crashing the browser for me. I don't get notification of Messaging, Mail, Calendar even though it's turned on. I hope the RTM fixes this for me once it's out.
Yes, this method is available. Simply pay 39.99 and you can download/upgrade and install the final build of W8. Unnecessary to say, that your programs all will be gone except personal data.
