Anyone able to get Bing desktop to work with the RP. I put the bing folder in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\BingDesktop location and ran it in Win7 mode with admin priv. but the wallpapers don't change. The changing wallpapers is really the only reason why I like it. The bing search bar shows up but not the changing wallpapers.
Release Preview is beautiful! Faster yet, new UI, no graphic issues in Firefox, everything works perfect so far. BTW Classic Start works fine with RP.
I found it very surprising that many people got problems of starting apps or anything else what is mentioned. Got myself not a single problem and runs smoothly here. For these who do experience problems would I suggest to install the Release Preview again, something must be going wrong. Download the ISO from official links and nowhere else to ensure it's stable. It may also help if you run the setup.exe found in the sources folder instead of on the main folder from the ISO.
anyone getting problem to run windows lvie messenger under compatibility for windows vista? i want the live messenger icon move to the system tray but its not working and keep on freezing on me
win8 CP is more stable when run programs ,i have win8cp from official link when its posted no problem no BSOD nothing bad at all,but win8RP so buggy for me ,yes its fast o yes baby very fast but... i downloaded win 8 RP from official link x32 x64 version ,first i installied x64 on instalation crasch then another instalation all ok but when i reboot opera crashes (now iam now this flash plugin problem) ,try google chrome 21 and 20 version inposible to download anything ,this all on x64version win8RP, now iam on win8 RP x32 version same problem with opera 12 flash plugin after few seconds opera freezes , FOR ME WIN8CP MORE STABLE THEN THIS BUILD p.s IE10 notworking at all in x32 and x64 so far need time to test more software my cpu amd x6 and asus motherbord need advise what to do ,all win8RP updates installied

On Back Pages one guy mentioned that installing Intel Chipset Driver fixed its Opera crashing issue. Do try it.. For nvidia folks: New drivers will be released next week as per nvidia blog..
Has to be something else. Got myself i5 on notebook with Nvidia graphics and can load youtube videos. Maybe try to install the 301.42 Nvidia drivers of Windows 7, I got these installed myself.
ah. Messenger is an metro app now. and work pretty nicely. Don't know why you would want to add it in twice on you system
