If it's a complete browser like the good old Opera 12, why not? If it's a joke like edge, clearly no one wants to.
@k3lt Indeed. Mouse gestures, video downloading, auto-fill...all capable with add-ons. Although I find it a bit strange that web browsers themselves aren't that customisable (that is to say, why aren't they completely skinnable? That'd make for a killer feature). Perhaps some people enjoy surfing the web with ads? I can't fault them - those Thai women who-are-definitely-not-fake which plaster the web are surely more interesting than the actual content itself (sarcasm). I'm guessing that it depends on the needs of the user. Just searching the web? No add-ons may be adequate (still, a form of ad-blocking really should be required).
in edge: scrolling, not works. feels jumpy ad blocker not works, popups on every website. hardware acceleration, not works. feels jumpy with many tabs, browser lags. loads webpages really slow, 10 seconds on a newspaper sites that loads in 2 sec in chrome. user interface slow and unresponsive. no thank you, my good sir. edge is pure snake oil
edge locks up when going from one site to another or is slow updating , ive had edge hijacked twice and ms had no answer on how to get my home page back, so for now I will use another browser until they fine tune edge it acts like a beta now
