I also received the Edge update offer... but I've ignored it. Firefox is good enough, at least for me. Even if I did install it, this wouldn't replace Internet Explorer, right?
Personally, I don't know anything about that right now. So far, I don't know if it will be associated with Windows in any way or if it will remain a separate browser. Personally, I would very much like to believe that it will remain a standalone browser... But to be honest, for me, it doesn't matter what they do with it.
I'm waiting for Edge on Linux. I have issues with all Chrome(chromium) based browsers on my computer using Linux(all). No issues whatsoever using Chrome based Edge.
But why not. This has been on Google for quite some time. It is a Google app and a Google database, although now a bit outdated. It's a database from about two years ago.
