The first thing I noticed in the new version released today in Canary (76.0.154.0) is that now the flags page doesn't have the dark mode.
Hrmmm... apparently 154 is out, and DOH I see it was mentioned earlier, ugh, amazing how you can read down a page and still miss things, geez I'm getting old.
Thanks! We already know this from March 24th, then it was posted here first time and also in many places elsewhere.
Thursday was a good day as we got all 3 Channel Builds on same day. Microsoft Edge Beta = 75.0.139.10 Microsoft Edge Dev = 76.0.152.0 Microsoft Edge Canary = 76.0.154.0
I'm on a tight data plan, so how do I stop the browser from automatically updating itself? Is there anything I can do in GP or Registry? Thanks Update: Setting connection as metered doesn't stop it
Is this going to be inside latest windows 10 release? because i got the latest insider fast version from udddump site and that windows didn't had chromium edge inside... i really want to see it inside origina windows iso. maybe i can stop using chrome then.
The new Edge browser will be a standalone download, so it will not be integrated into any Windows 10 version.
Well I wasn't thinking about future feature updates, but knowing MS I wouldn't be surprised if they did integrate this new browser. Especially if it becomes a success.
Has anyone found or is anyone using an extension that allows for downloading YouTube videos that does not require developer mode, if it's even possible? On Firefox all this kind of stuff is idiotproof but I know because of how Google codes Chromium with so many restrictions some extensions to require that mode and I'm doing everything I can to avoid it so far. Any info or recommendations are appreciated, and still loving this Edgium thing, no issues, still fast as expected.
IDM (Internet Download Manager)... once installed, go to Chrome extensions store and download their extension. You can download (choose the quality of video) you want and download. I have no problems at all downloading from YouTube with IDM. And if you don't want to install any extensions but be able to download from multiple sites online... JDownloader 2 is awesome. Once JDownloader 2 is installed, copy the link of any video or material you want and JDownloader will give you multiple options to download (quality, audio only, etc.). It has a clipboard grabber, but you can turn it off and just manually enter the link of the material you want to download. As long as JDownloader has a plugin for that site, you can grab/download things. Enjoy
