There are quite a lot of differences, but its good to keep in mind its still in development and not feature-complete.
And there will not be, they only publish a changelog when they release a new build on the Dev channel, this has been known for a long time. By the way, IMHO, a single post informing about the release of a new build in Edge Canary is enough...
Tested how? It's supposed to be like Chrome with MS UI, some MS tweaks (performance, I hope), and supposed to connect to MS Account instead of Google Account.
does google voice phone calls work in this browser for you guys? i keep getting "You can't make calls Your browser doesn't support calling over the internet. "
Tested in "normal browser", I do not have MS account It's the same point of view interface, menu, etc... MS will have kept the initial Edge modified the engine, made improvements, make it standalone and unrelated to Windows (like Canary), I will have better "understood" the new browser But if it's based on Chrome, as much kept Chrome (unless MS brings his "MS customization")
I make calls using Hangouts all the time in Edgium, never had any issues. I don't use the actual Google Voice website at voice.google.com, I just log into Hangouts at hangouts.google.com and I'm able to make voice calls from my laptop, I make a few a day, works fine for me.
Or in your download url from microsoftedgeinsider.com change "Channel=Canary" to "Channel=Beta" or what channel you want.
The Beta version doesn't have the dark color implemented. Another question: How can I download an installer in Spanish? I tried changing en-US to es-ES or es-MX, but the Edge is still in English
