1. all fonts and sizes can be changed in settings. These fonts and sizes are used only on these sites, where is not fonts and sizes defined by site. But such a sites usually doesn't exist.
2. And where are stored the history, cookies, etc ... ? - they are all in User profile folder
3. there is option close tab, close tabs to right, close other tabs, close window, what warning You need?

However, you probably wanted to say that you used the offline package without update feature. Offline full installer have never been released.
And You don't said, where is it installed, in which folder?
If it is not in correct folder, it will never update.

It's ok under IE and Classic Edge

And don't be surprised that some things don't work.

 

After testing a little Canary compared to Edge, it lacks a lot of functionality (for my use) but it's still in phase of "test" (beta)

- Some fuzzy fonts on different forums / sites (and on the screen it's less obvious than it actually is)

Canary : IE/Edge :

- The videos on Facebook do not work like on Edge (With Edge we can watch a video by scrolling the newsfeed, the video is on the right)
- Not yet the Favorites button
- The color of the top bar (when the window is in the background) which remains black

 

He just explained to you that the full installer creates all the files without user intervention, the folder in question is
"C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe"

The installers on the Get edge site are fully featured, including the update feature. It wouldn't work if you firewalled the update part or disabled it's auto start.
You do need to rename the files you get from there to a comprehensible name with .exe extension.

Secondly. The correct place is not the folder you specified, but
%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft\Edge if You have 64-bit OS
and
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft\Edge if You have 32-bit ie x86 OS
or simply to say, if Your OS is installed on C:\ drive these locations are
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge for 64-bit system
and
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Edge for 32-bit system
If You install to some other place, for example to folder
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Edge...
it will never update automatically.
And if You uses simple installer packages then they will never update automatically because there is no updater in these packages.

Does anyone know how to remove smiley [send feedback] icon on right side browser? Appear on Dev, Canary, Beta version. I admit that it bothers me a lot. Thanks

I have successfully removed that annoying smiley with the UserFeedbackAllowed group policy.
If you don't use group policy, you could try one of the following command lines:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --enable-features=UserFeedbackAllowed
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --disable-features=UserFeedbackAllowed

I have not tested those yet so I can't confirm. If one does work, add it to Edge shortcut.

Or import the following registry key:

Save that code snippet as .reg file and import.
