[DISCUSSION] Microsoft Edge

I just checked Process Explorer and noticed that Canary 78.0.277.0 processes are running at Untrusted integrity level instead of AppContainer. Is this just a bug in Canary or have Microsoft made a change? (for the worse)

 

Vivaldi 2.8 also runs like that, and it's based on Chromium 77 I think.

 

Canary got new build number : 79.0.279.

I try to save my profile (settings, extension, etc ...) by saving the Default directory (in User Data)

But each time all my settings are saved except the start pages, extension, search engine
And I have a message that another program has changed some settings

Does anyone have an idea of what else saved?

Are you sure that Browser is completely closed when you make a backup or copy and that no other program (any cleaner, any other backupper) is not using this data at the same time while you are making a copy?

But personally I don't see in this absolutely any problems. The best case is if there is nothing synchronized automatically.

It depends on server settings and also stored cookies. If You like delete cookies regularly, also must regularly confirm that this are You and not somebody else. If You do not delete cookies and do not change IP, usually not needed to do that or at least not needed so often to do. All cookies have their own lifetime.
