Code: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Updates better exclude the whole Microsoft Office folder
@sid_16 Do you remember AppGuard conceives Windows systems in two working spaces: system space and user space. From AppGuard pov that path is already in System Space so no need to add it. Something else is happening on how Office handles its updates so you need to track down what is it and configure AppGuard accordingly. If you like let's discuss this by pm.
Hi. I'm having trouble installing from the latest ProPlus2019Retail.img (march 2019), it defaults to a 32 bits install even if I use an xml file stating otherwise. I'm using the same configuration file I used on the previous release. It seems like it completely ignores the configuration.xml file, because it also installs all programs and not the 'PerpetualVL2019' product as indicated. Am I missing something? Anyone else having this issue? Thanks. PS: I know I can use tools like YAOCTRI, but my utlimate goal here is to install Office unattended without 3rd party tools.
OK. Office 2019 Pro Plus has been working great for quite some time...for the most part anyways... Hopefully without getting mired in tedious detail.....About a week ago I tried to clone my C: drive and discovered it must have had some errors becuz both Macrium Reflect and Acronis TIH Clone ended with an error and no clone (in fact, one of the programs blew up the existing previous clone....not my C: drive, tho). So I did a chkdsk c: /R /F and set it in motion. That seemed to solved my cloning issue but not before I lost all functionality of Win 10 (Boooo). I figured something to do with chkdsk caused that to happen. I rebooted the system and then it went thru some kind of recovery process and got Win 10 back, but it asked me to log into my MS account so it could reactivate Win 10, which it did. However, when I tried to run Word or Excel or...etc. the apps also came up as no longer activated (also lost some programs off my Quick Launch bar which I haven't yet figured out which ones those were The whole thing was kind of odd. Then I did an Office Pro Plus 2019 reactivation using C2R Install V6.57 and that got things back to "normal", mostly. The one program that seems a bit off is Project Pro 2019. When I start the program I get a popup window that states: "We noticed you just upgraded your license. Please reboot Microsoft Project for the changes to take effect." I tried restarting the program and the computer (a few times), and then did a reinstall/retail->volume/activation of Project Pro. No change. If I click on "OK", the window goes away...until the next time I start Project. The other thing I noticed is when the program starts it shows <filename> - Microsoft Project Standard. However, the menus "look" like the Pro version and if I go to File/Account I see "Project Activated"...."Microsoft Project Professional 2019". This is more of a nuisance than anything else, but I don't remember having this kind of behavior before the "hiccup". I am running the latest update. About Project shows Version 1903 (Build 11425...Click-to-Run) Anyone have any insight or suggestions on this? Thanks in advance and cheers....
Post configuration file to verify ODT does not allow installing PerpetualVL2019 channel from Retail source
How to create an ISO completed office 2019 Volume licensed as an Iso. image? Edit; what I want, is that image* is being converted to VL and then make an image. That part I dont know. Is it possible to create an Office 2019 VL IMAGE, from an retail version? This I would like to see how to transfer from retail to VOLUME LIC. and then make an image of this. Is this possible and what tools do I need? Please guide me on that.
I got Office 2019 converted to VL and activated. The question I'm having is why it won't update ? Anybody got the same issue or is it just me missing something ? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.!
I have not followed the topic for a very long time, sorry for the question It is still not possible to have an equivalent to the .msi installation (like the 2016) ? Currently, I delete all components that I do not need with the 2016 (at the beginning of the installation) And I would like to do the same with 2019 Thanks for your help
