Channels control updates (features and fixes), all can be normally activated with KMS regardless if you are using Office 2019, it doesn't really matter but Monthly channel is better choice
Are there any (preferably offline) Language Packs or Proofing Tools for 2019 ProPlus x64 that work with a VL activation? *edit* Talk about lurking, second post in 11 years...
Is there some tutorial to add Office (in this case Office 2019) to the Windows ISO? I would like to save some time when doing a clean install, and installing Office at the same time.
Just an observation. @abbodi1406 when you copy the github link from https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-microsoft-office-2019.75232/page-72#post-1479890 by doubleclicking the line. It copies the : in front (actually from the line above) of http too, when pasting it in the browser it contains the : and doesn't work.
By installing windows in a vm in audit mode and installing office, next sysprep and capture the vm to a wim, you have office pre-installed.
It doesn't copy that with chrome for me you can mark the link manually anyway, convert it to normal url
Sorry, this is probably a dumb question that has been asked before. In fact, I know I've done it before, just can't remember! Must be old age. I have a VL key for Office 2019. Will this work with the Retail downloads, or what do I need to do please? Thanks heaps. UPDATED: All sorted, was just too tired to read it all properly! Tassie
Hi to all, I have encountered an issue which I have not been able to resolve and would appreciate your expert advice! I have two windows 10 systems both running Office 2019 Pro Plus VL with Viso Pro VL & Project Pro VL. The first (running Windows 10 1903) was installed via the ODT in October 2018 using 16.0.10827.20138 as the (then) latest VL download available, the update channel was then changed to "Monthly" using Office Tool Plus (under 'manage' configuration settings) it subsequently allowed monthly updates ever since currently running 16.0.11727.20230 and displaying the updated Office Icon set The second system (Windows 10 1809) was running Office 2016 Pro Plus VL with Viso 2016 Pro VL & Project 2016 Pro VL (MSI version) until last week when an issue suggested that a re-install was advisable. It seemed sensible at this point to "upgrade" to Office 2019 Pro Plus VL with Viso 2019 Pro VL & Project 2019 Pro VL using the ODT to download the current version to a local drive for subsequent deployment/re-deployment. Yesterday, the downloaded files were deployed and the Office 2019 VL suite installed (following the procedure utilised previously in October) and then, using V6.3.1.3 of Office Tool Plus - released today (01.07.19) - to change the update channel from "PerpetualVL2019" (which I understand is the ONLY supported channel on deployment of the VL version) to "Monthly" and additionally updates enabled as before. These changes were saved and verified in registry - CDNBaseUrl (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration). I have even subsequently tried to repeat the procedure using the latest (08.06.19) version of "Office R Tool" but the system absolutely refuses to update reporting "You're Up to date! The latest version of Office is installed on your computer." The installed version reports as 16.0.10346.20002 as installed yesterday. Can anybody suggest what might be different between the two machines, why one should update but not the other? What could have caused the issue and how I can resolve it. Your guidance is greatly appreciated!! PC Pilot
@abbodi1406: First, thanks for your answer very much. I was now trying to make a single ISO of Office 2019 with installers included -either YAOCTRI and/or Deploy-N-Install- in order to make deployments by running everything from the DVD (or mounted ISO). However last time using YAOCTRI I noticed it seemingly needs to generate config file to store the given options; this file being created by default in same directory script is run from. Can't remember very well, but I think Deploy-N-Install also writes its config file... And since a DVD or ISO file are read only by nature, does it mean what I'm seeking to do is not possible? Or would I need to somehow specify where to save the config files? Thanks again.
@sacarias YAOCTRI create the config file on Desktop if it ran from read-only location (e.g. DVD) if you choose to "Install Now" in the final menu, then you don't need the config file (it's ment for reference and/or future installations)
Just a heads up. When I use the OfficeRTool to install SINGLE apps (word, excel, powerpoint) it also installs onedrive. Is there an option to exclude this ?
Can anyone please clarify something for me ? Microsoft says that office 2019 will not get new features, only 0ffice365 Does this mean that the monthly updates to office 2019 are only security updates ? What about the perpetualVL2019 ? Does that mean that office will ONLY get security updates each year ? and not each month ? Also, if i download the latest monthly CC retail and install it as perpetualVL2019, what will happen ? Will i get some features but not all ? maybe some features will not get bug fixed.... There are SO MANY OPTIONS.... thank you for any updates on this
what are the best programs/scripts to preconfigure + silent/unattended install of word+excel+outlook+powerpoint+onenote? ive tried several and have found too many menu options, not something im looking for. with odt, im not very sure how to run the setup file
