Thanks. So... if they're literally just ISOs, why doesn't MS just give them an .iso extension and save everyone some confusion? EDIT: Answered my own question. Technically they're not traditional ISOs (ISO 9660), they're UDF 1.50 archives. Still, they're treated like ISOs all the same.
This Office Suite solely relies on C2R service. I thought it would be gone after the install but it looks like it here to stay. So FYI everyone if you disable the C2R service Office 2019 will fail to start at all.
Well that was a waste of time. Any minor improvements the tools have are offset by not being able to manually select the components you don't want or an install location. I've avoided the Click2Run version of Office precisely because of these limitations but as already stated, Office 2019 won't have a traditional installer anymore. Oh well, back to 2016.

There are YouTube version where office 2019 is installed. You get to choose what you want installed. Install at your own risk. I'll prefer to follow Microsoft guidelines.
ProPlus retail 2019 en-US img downloaded, installed, converted to VL, activated just now. What is the problem??
I'm using Office 2016 Professional Plus VL today, from what I'm reading across different forums there seems to be different opinions about Office 2019. As I understand it Office 2019 will not be like Office 2016, therefore only C2R and will not offer any wow factor changes. Is there any benefits updating to Office 2019 Professional Plus from Office 2016?
