.img and .iso both are almost the same things, and both are identical when it comes to office files. Right-click on .img file you have and select mount option.
Thank you so much! I didn't see anything about mounting here so I never tried that. Now, I downloaded something to mount my file, ran configurator and now I have Office 2019 at last and I can use the black theme too even if I didn't activate it yet. Finally. Thank you again.
Hi everyone. I reinstalled Windows 7 and now can't get WOTOK to update Office 2019 any more - I have a "this version of Office requires a newer version of Windows" error from the C2R installer. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix/update to the latest Office Insider build? Thank you!
Wotok is only for Windows 10. If you want to install Office on Windows 7, use for example YAOCTRI/YAOCTRU, it has support for Windows 7.
i am activating office 2k19 pp with retail key. my friend say it needs ms office 2k19 pp retail image and it shouldn't be volume license activated. but i have ms office 2k19 pp volume license . if office scrubber removes all licenses then installing/reinstalling 3.2 gb file is very useful. can it be retail activated.
The office installation directory can not be changed. I've not played with retail keys so I can not confirm how exactly the office is supposed to switch between activation methods. However, if the office was initially installed as retail and later converted to volume, in that case, running Reset_Licenses.cmd file from Office Scrubber will restore the retail licenses and remove the volume licenses without reinstalling the office.
That's weird. I was using WOTOK on my last 7 install and it was working perfectly. I have tried YAOCTRI but I just get the same error. Also tried the OfficeRTool, same error. Not sure how I managed to have it working in my last install but not this one...
Ah, thank you, I didn't know this. So this is the only Office 2019 build that works on Windows 7? I can't remember what build I was using in my previous install.
Yes, you have mentioned that and as I've said, run Reset_Licenses.cmd file and it will restore the retail license.
Sorry for late/necro-quoting, but isn't Office 365 the newer? Do I understand this correctly: Office 365 is the version that receives newest features and updates. However, as we don't have an activation solution for Office 365 (activation by YAOCTRI just actually converts it to Mondo(?!)), so people usually choose Office 2019?
@loveleeyoungae Yes generally, users think Office 2019 is newer and better Office 365 converted to Mondo still get features, unlike Office 2019
Hi Everyone - I just installed O365ProPlusRetail image successfully but have questions. I uninstalled Office 2013 which I had for six years which suddenly became deactivated. I tried the Scrubber but the system wouldn't allow it. Is it just for removing traces of 2016 and above? I used Wotok script and wanted just the four pre-selected apps. The install reached 51% but stayed there for about 20 minutes so I cancelled it. Was I too impatient? Then I used the setup.exe from the image. Once installed, I used OfficeRTool to activate and all seemed ok. When I opened Word, it asked for product code. I entered the code from the installation I have on VM Player but it was not accepted. I closed that window and checked under File/Account in Word and found that it was activated! So I assume that the product code is not needed? I opened BelArc Advisor and it said that Office expires in about 6 months. To re-activate, do I just run OfficeRTool again? And should I do that before Office loses activation? Is it ok to update through windows update? Then run the Wotok script to remove telemetry? Thank you all.
