Im having the problem running windows ver 20221 it tell me office 2019 no longer compatible with this version of windows so i guess we have to wait for 2021 office release
From which distribution channel is your Office? If your Office originates from "Current"-Channel (Retail/RTM) then this may be the reason. Try Office from internal MS developer "DogfoodDevMain"-channel. This one contains a newer codebase.
Im running office 2019 retail then convert it using C2R-R2V and then activating it with KMS ALL what version are u guys running? from the news that coming from MS for office 2021 it looks like 2019 is toast. i keep getting this incompatible notification
I run the latest released office 2019 (check the ini i showed, using yaoctri), downloaded by using YAOCTRU. It's best to install office 2019 directly with VL licenses (using YAOCTRI) instead of installing it first without them (YAOCTRIR) and next converting them to VL before KMS activating it.
I going to try that i will unstall office and convert it using the YAOCTRI do i run it like the C2R-R2V and then activated?
No, you use YAOCTRI to configure the install of office, the mentioned tools have readme files available. And keep in mind that dev channel releases are insider previews.
Today I downloaded the latest 2019 build via YAOCTRU, and then tried to install it on a pristine VirtualBox Win 7 by using YAOCTRI. I made some runs, none of them successful. The install freezes at different stages, e.g. 94%, 52%, etc. Bitness is 64, channel Perpetual VL, Office Pro Plus, ProjectPro, Visio Pro. The interesting fact is that the April 2020 build posted by @abbodi1406 installs fine. Note that I keep a "pristine original" VDI of Win 7, and perform the tests on a copy, which I delete after each run. This means that the starting point is always identical and pristine. Has MS done something to prevent latest builds from installing on Win 7? Or it is just a peculiarity of VirtualBox? Many thanks for your thoughts on the matter. PS: Congrats to @abbodi1406 and contributors for their excellent YAOCTRx scripts.
Excellent post, @Enthousiast ! Happy to know that the latest build installs fine on a VMware Win 7 system. It looks like Oracle is the party to blame. There is another difference, though: I chose the Perpetual 2019 VL channel, instead of the Monthly one you demonstrate. I prefer the Pptl VL route because the Volume Channel is installed directly; no need to convert from Retail. If you have time, it would be interesting to install Office with the Perpetual 2019 VL channel on your VMware. All the best.
