Downgrading the update channel will not downgrade the build. If you downgrade the update channel but the build is of a higher update channel then the office will not update and will show its uptodate (even if it's missing monthly security updates).
Are these still the newest Office 2019 versions? 13913.20000 0 Dogfood-DevMain 13913.20000 9 Microsoft-DevMain 13913.20000 1 Insiders-DevMain 13901.20170 2 Insiders-CC 13801.20294 5 Insiders-FRDC 13801.20294 3 Production-CC 13628.20528 4 Production-MEC 13127.21348 6 Production-DC 10372.20060 8 Microsoft-LTSC 10372.20060 7 Production-LTSC Is there one recommended for just regular use, type something in word, format it, save it as pdf, poof - all?
Yeah but it appears that office 2019 is no longer updated since June 2020 so what not use the newest? Or why not use the oldest for so basic tasks I do? I want to know what each version has fixed, added, or removed, and it's quite a challenge to google it (for noob like me)
And the equivalent of Windows 21H1 would be...? Are there tools to download those newer versions? Both YAOCTRU and WOTOK don't Could you check what version is on your pc? I presume you're using WU?
Trying to find a retail version of ProPlus 2019 but I can't find it anywhere here. There is one link I tried and it started a download but it continuously failed at 5%. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Hello everyone, I tried installing Office 365 from ProPlus2019Retail.iso using YAOCTRI v9. I get Office 2016 Mondo (Account Prod info). However when I start any office app (say, Word), it shows Office 365. What is going wrong with the installation? Could anyone please guide me?
Dear @Enthousiast : I understood this part while installing for the first time (Office 365 + Visio 2019 + Project 2019). It got me Office 2016 Mondo, so uninstalled all office apps. Tried again, but this time only Office 365. Still got Office 2016 Mondo. Is Mondo version different from regular Office/Office 365?
KMS can't activate O365, you are using the Volume version of YAOCTRI, hence it installs Mondo 2016 license (closest to O365, feature-wise) to enable the KMS activation. From read me, Code: ## Behind the scenes * YAOCTRI - Volume flavor: - Microsoft 365 Enterprise will be installed as Retail SKU, then converted with Mondo 2016 Volume licenses additionally, O365ProPlusRetail grace key will be installed to enable more features - On Windows 10: all other products will be installed directly as Volume SKUs - On Windows 7/8.1: Office Mondo 2016 will be installed directly as Volume SKU all other products will be installed as Office 2016 Retail SKUs, then converted with Office 2019 Volume licenses * YAOCTRIR - Retail flavor: - On Windows 10: all products will be installed directly as Retail SKUs - On Windows 7/8.1: all Microsoft 365 and Office 2016 products will be installed directly as Retail SKUs Office 2019 products will be installed as Office 2016 Retail SKUs, then converted with Office 2019 Retail licenses
Mondo is the mother SKU for Office 365, Office 2019, Office 2016 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1487975/ https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1552544/ https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1641137/
@abbodi1406 , @Windows_Addict : Thanks a lot for clarifying this. Correct me if I am wrong: Mondo is O365 except for some O365 features? I just have one more doubt to bother you. In one post you told that Mondo is not beta. So can I use it instead of regular Office 2016? Is it some kind of experimental/buggy version? Reason being that it gets updated with a nice interface and other features. I chose Office suite option in YAOCTRI. Every Office Mondo app (EXCEPT for Word, Access) is giving this error: VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL ERROR .(please see the image attached)
1- Feature wise, Office 2016 < Office 2019 < Office 2021 < Mondo 2016 < O365 Mondo 2016 is the best choice if we want the most and latest features with free KMS activation. 2- Are you running Windows 7 without updating it? if yes then, Code: * On Windows 7, Office 2016/2019 licensing service require Universal C Runtime to work correctly - UCRT is available in the latest Monthly Rollup, or the separate update KB3118401 * Additionally, Office programs themselves require recent Windows 7 updates to start properly *also, the office builds later than 16.0.12527.21686 can't run properly on Windows 7. if not, then run Full_Scrub.cmd from Office Scrubber and reinstall office.
hello, @Windows_Addict : I am on Windows 10. I will try your method. I am a bit concerned about speed of Office 2019 (x86) apps. They seem slow to me compared to Office 2016 apps. Are Office 2019 apps (x86) slow to open than Office 2016 apps (x86) or negligible difference? Could you please share your experiences?
