YAOCTRI do not support installing Office arm64 (maybe soon?)

you need to use the official deployment too with configuration.xml

 

Is office 2019 the newest version someone can install on w7? Or will 2021 work as well? Office 365 does not work afaik.

For Office 2019 installation I used both YAOCTRI (command line; primary one) and a tool called DIT-x64 IIRC (GUI), depending on the occasions. However DIT is no longer mentioned in the OP here. What happened to it?

Though I know everything gets updated and changes, I just wanted to know out of curiosity what happened to it.

YAOCTRU is for downloading the office file set.

 

Just curiosity, could it be viable to "merge" both YAOCTRI and YAOCTRU into one single script?
Dunno, with options such as "use found local Office ISO, or online download?"

Have you ever developed and proposed a software solution to the community ? Do you know the difficulty to make it work on a multitude of OS, HW and SW combinations ?
There are some basic principles to remember :
