That may mean, channel is inside EXE file, which can be replaced, I assume

You can't change the Volume update channel to current, the office will check the installed product ID and if it's volume then it will only work on the volume update channel.

And is it possible to modify the Convert_RT_VL.ps1 from OfficeRTool to Convert_VL_RT, making inside strings look like "@('ProPlus2019Volume','ProPlus2019Retail')," instead of "@('ProPlus2019Retail','ProPlus2019Volume') - wouldn't that chenge the installed Volume to Retail (and allow update), as it works with Retail->VL?

No, the installed product ID needs to be changed, not the installed licenses.

So for activation OHook showed me:
    upload_2024-8-18_7-32-36.png
And inside apps I see it is activated as needed:
    upload_2024-8-18_7-33-38.png
Note - Channel is ACTUAL, version 2407 build 17830.20166
I am happy with that if that would work without reactivation.

With the newest Office scrubber do we still need to remove Office from the control panel in the first place and then run Office scrubber or can we just only use Office scrubber et voilá?

Just run scrubber, it runs built-in official uninstaller anyway.

    Hey guys,
No matter what i try in this version i can not get Outlook to sync my (microsoft account) e-mail anymore.
Can i just update to the latest version of office 2019 using WOTOK? Or is it mandatory that i upgrade to Office 2021 in order to get this to work?

Hi, I always come here to download the offline installation of Office 2021 and 365, but I would like to know if there is a page that allows downloading older versions of Office 365, or even better, the stable edition available before version 2408. Can anyone help me or send me a link to a page like this?

    Thanks a lot.

It makes sense to ask in the Microsoft Office 2019 thread. (Sarcasm).

You can use Office Tool Plus or another deployment/download method that allows you to specify the desired version number. If the selected method (utility) does not show the desired version number for selection, then you need to find it in the change history (Microsoft website) for the selected deployment channel. There is also an official API, but there is a limited amount of information there. Therefore, it is more reliable to find out the exact desired version number. 2408 - August (8) 2024. For the current channel, the release number of the previous month is used. For other channels, other product delivery dates are partly described in official sources.

Hi! I am new to this thread. Since Microsoft ceased support of Outlook 2016, there is no official outlook client for Windows 7 anymore...

Searching for unofficial ways to install Office 2019 on win7 as officially 2019 doesn't support win7, while also getting it activated and updated in Windows Updates like Office 2016, I found this thread.

Can someone guide me a bit about options and differences between tools? I found YAOCTRI, Wotok, telemetry disabling scripts etc, it is quite confusing... Perhaps some links to start reading about these tools and download them, would be useful. :)

Although I think I know the answer already, I will ask.
Can I install (some old version of) ms office 2019 on w7 without hacks and the like? I only want excel and outlook to work and the system already has 2013 installed, but outlook 2013 can not authorize with gmail anymore, so it can not receive or send anything.
The system is updated all the way to the updates of January 2023 with simplix.

p.s. In case ms office 2016 is the last version that be installed on w7 without hacks, please point me to the relevant discussion thread. I did consider it as a better option, but I can not find a proper thread. Thank you in advance.
