On windows 7 latest office are 2002 branch , end of update january 2023 ( to have 2016 with update up to 2025 you need windows 10 ) My methode use official office 2019 branch ( 1808 ) with latest update from september 2023
It is the only 1808 one I found in English in the archive, but writes September 2021... If it works fine and can receive updates via windows updater afterwards, perhaps this one would also do the job? I can't find anything else...
I installed the file for x64 from the link I mentioned, then after reboot I installed again with YAOCTRIR but still crashes upon launch...
Install both the x86 and x64 versions of the visual runtimes if you're using a 64-bit system. See: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...untimes-2024-11-06.76588/page-46#post-1859490 My two cents.
Eventually, I uninstalled Outlook 2016 and tried again installing Outlook 2019, and it finally worked!!! All the other apps are still from 2016, which still receive updates, I only wanted Outlook 2019. Problem is, that even Outlook 2019 doesn't login to my outlook account... App password doesn't work, no matter which account type I selected (office365, outlook.com, exchange). Which are the proper settings to make it work?
UPDATE!!! Possibly there were some remaining elements from the 2016 version and it was calling that instead. Now, Outlook 2019 updated its icon and everything, i went for exchange account, it opened up a web login and since 2fa is on, sent me a code to my authenticator on android, i accepted it and it opened! Now, everything works fine! Emails, contacts and calendars all accessible from windows 7 pc.
C2R != MSI C2R iso is not retail or volume, you can install whatever SKU you want using tools like https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/tool-office-tool-plus-official-thread.82730/
