I would post this issue in [INFO - DISCUSSION + Downloads] Windows 10 1809 FINAL Build 17763.1 (PC) [RS5] Since it´s more likely to be an issue with IP rather than office 2019
after installing ProPlus2019Retail.img, convert to VL and activated, how do i go back and remove certain apps, e.g. Access, Outlook, etc? in Control Panel, there is only Repair, but not able to modify individual component, i guess this is because of C2R.
Volume default Perpetual2019 = old build. Monthly channel would be better https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1464158
Thanks to all for your tools, informtions and sharing. I've been able to install ProPlus2019Volume (ODT method) on clean Windows 10 VM. In the Start Menu, I had a shorcut named "OneNote 2016" after install... but after launching it it's 2019 version. So don't trust the shorcuts in Start Menu to know which version you have installed.
Hi, guys, Strange thing with my install - I installed Office 2019 Standard Volume and everything seemed fine. It shows Office 2019 in Programs and Features but every single application shows Office 2016 when clicking on office account. Any ideas? Just to add that I had Office 2016 before but removed it through configuration and ODT.
Is it really needed to add Proofing tools in the same language as under the main office Product ID? I'm only using it for extra languages where a Display Language isn't required, as Proofing always shows as installed for the language(s) specified under Product ID (when checked inside the Apps Language Tools). Thanks. Edit: Btw, for anyone wondering, even when a Office 2019 Volume PID is specified without channel, Production_LTSC/PerpetualVL2019 seems to be used by default (at least if no office installation is present on system, see bellow: ). I've noticed something strange. When trying to download the non volume "Standard2019" without a channel set on the xml, it would download the PerpetualVL2019 build while a ProPlus2019Volume under PerpetualVL2019 was present on the OS. After it was uninstalled, setup immediately revert to downloading the Current version for Standard2019. Could it be that when a channel isn't specified, ODT will try to download/set what's default for the product id, but if a channel is set on the host system it'll follow it instead?
What do you mean by "My Colorful scheme is retained with 2019 (from 2016)."? You mean you have the same Outlook 2016 UI and not the new UI from Outlook 2019? I did uninstalled Office 2016 Pro Plus, did a restart, installed Office 2019 Pro Pus from officeCDN so I am sure its Official ISO. installed 64bit version of it. Then downloaded C2R-R2V_4.7z and run the Convert-C2R. Then activated it via KMS Auto version 1.4.9 Then when I open Outlook, it’s the same UI of Outlook 2016. But I noticed the Black theme is added under the themes. 2016 didn’t have any black theme. On this part, when I click on the Show additional licensing info, it also lists Office 2016! About Outlook but shows only 2019. Any idea? You have the same issue?
I'm thinking about installing 2019 pro plus x86 via C2R, but I only have 1GB left on my plan - I only need Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Power Point - can this amount of data suffice?
I did uinstall Office 2019 with easy fix tool from Microsoft, but same problem after installing Office 2019. It has same UI as Office 2016.
so updates offered on version 1600.10730.20102 taking office version now to 16.0.10730.20127 Shame we cant download the same version
Just spotted something strange. Office 2019 seems to use the same registry keys as 2016, when looking at the CU hive it clearly says "Office\16.0" Office 16 was the codename for Office 2016. Why would MS use the same keys, as opposed to using something newer like "Office\19.0"? And something else. As Abbodi stated, C2R builds do not use WU. Will there be some way to distribute updates together with the offline source as it was with the msi install? Or will MS release newer (updated) builds of the image? Cheers.
