Downloaded Office 2019 from 1st post.

Extracted .IMG to folder "Office"
Downloaded ODT and extracted it to "Office" folder replacing the original "setup.exe"
Edited .xml file to include this configuration (install only Word, Excel & Powerpoint):

Named it "config.xml"
Ran cmd as admin and typed the following command: setup /configure config.xml

Office installed apparently without any problems. Build 16.0.10730.20102.

The only issue i'm facing right now is when i go to check for updates it tells me there are new updates available and asks me if i want to download them. I click on Yes but after that nothing happens, and i see no activity on the network at all.

What could be the reason to this?

Okay thanks. It just seems kind of odd that I cannot find a reference to Mondo outside of piracy. One more question: Can I convert an Office 2019 ProPlus installation without removing it? Ideally using KMSpico?

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration,
to this value

(removing blanks)

Then try to get updates again.

It worked for me using Product ID="ProPlus2019Volume" with Channel="PerpetualVL2019".
Probably it won't be working with the config you did use: Product ID="ProPlus2019Retail" with Channel="Monthly".

Do you have network connection set to metered?

Because it never officially acknowledged, nor it can be bought or have activation keys
only GVLK that works with KMS

convert licensing? KMSpico doesn't support O2019

 

Okay, makes sense. How can the Mondo release be officially acquired if it cannot be bought or have activation keys? As for switching to Mondo, I use the Ratiborus C2R installer to install 2016 Mondo. Then I just went in to my installed programs list and uninstalled Office 2019. I know that KMSpico does not work with Office 2019, so I was using a different activator, but apparently KMSpico does work with 2016 Mondo, so I can go back to using KMSpico exclusively instead of having two activators installed. (I still had to keep KMSpico installed alongside my other activator because I use KMSpico for keeping Windows 10 activated.)

 

@N0t1s that link was already present, it's the channel for Monthly Channel i think, which was the one i installed

@abbodi1406 that was it. I turned it off and now it updated (to 16.0.10827.20181) but after updating, the other apps (access, publisher, etc) were installed as well

For some reason the .config file settings served no purpose after updating

 

Is there a way to remove the Professional Plus 2019 and Professional Plus 2016 license, leaving only the Mondo 2016 one? It's not really a big deal, but I would like to do so if possible.

I only tested updating once, it only updated current apps

how did you installed? which Product ID? converted to VL or direct?

that was my install process

i didn't convert to VL nor activate it. i simple installed it and updated it right away

Edit: Uninstalled and installed again and this time it updated without installing the excluded apps. Dunno what happened the first time

I know you can convert the RETAIL version of Office 2019 ProPlus to VOLUME but is there a VOLUME ISO that I can download so I don't need to convert RETAIL to VOLUME?

No there is no VL iso version for office 2019 at this moment.

 

This question may have been asked already,
Can you uninstall individual applications such as Skype for Business etc after activation?
The Change function in "Programs and features only shows reapir and reinstall I believe?
If you choose uninstall vs change does it allow individual apps to be removed?

Or is The Office Deployment tool, OfficeRTool, or the Office Tool Plus the only options, to specify, specific apps to be installed, and only when 1st installing?
