1. officeRtool or yaoctri 2. yes, o365 is supported on win 7/8.1 until 2023 3. SppExtComObjPatcher-kms can be installed for auto renewal (default 7 days) KMS-VL-ALL-7.2RC2 can create schedule task for reactivation
@ma.prezentalok YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT! I'm member here since 10 years and sometimes I could help somebody. But now I've completely lost the OVERVIEW on all these progs and applications downloading and activating Office and Windows, doing all practically the same!
Does the online install allow me to select the add-ons I want or are they separate installs? Do I have to use the OfficeRtool? Thanks
I downloaded the powershell script to disable telemetry in office 2019 from the first post, followed the directions and then went to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\OTele and saw that the files were still there. I then opened up each of my 3 programs that I installed, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, closed them and went back to see if the files are there and they were. I'm using 17763.1 Win 10.64 bit. Forgot to mention I'm using Office 2019 VL not converted.
@sidjames45 , first of all, thank you for your Deploy tool, its helped a lot of people. second - can you please explain what needs to be set to install on windows 7. in your main release post you make it sound like it would only work if "MondoVolume" or "O365ProPlusRetail" chosen, however i thought that any "product" would install as long as we're directly interfacing with OfficeClickToRun.exe. That makes me think that maybe what you meant to say is that if we choose one of those 2, we don't need to use R2V tool for KMS activation, but then I was confused because afaik O365ProPlusRetail still needs conversion. Anyway, question in short: What are (all) the possible methods to install Office 2019 on Windows 7 with your tool. Thanks again!
Deploy tool can install any listed sku in windows 7, I suppose @sidjames45 mentioned "MondoVolume" or "O365ProPlusRetail" for win 7 because these 2 are the only sku install which can get updates in windows 7. It should be noted that in win 7, YAOCTRI by default uses a workaround to get ProPlus updates in win 7, it installs O365 even if you select to install ProPlus, later it changes the license to Proplus, that way the user gets all the features of ProPlus with working updates.
@l33tissw00t: You could install any known/listed SKU, but please note that installation won't be a problem, getting updates will be. Currently, "MondoVolume" and "O365ProPlusRetail" are the only known product IDs capable of absorbing updates for Windows 7 or 8(.1). "MondoVolume" SKU will install Office 365 with Visio & Project and eradicates the need of installation of Volume licenses later. "O365ProPlusRetail" SKU will install Office 365 without Visio & Project, but require installation of Volume licenses later. _________________________________
just to make something clear for myself before i download - there are no separate 32bit and 64bit versions of office 2019?
Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm getting confused. On the one hand, we have the above quoted post (and many others like it), that there is NO Mondo for Office 2019. On the other hand, it is being mentioned (here for example) in regards to installing Office 2019 on Win7\8.1. If that works, and it's also true that there is no Mondo 2019, why/how is that better then installing Office 2016 ProPlus? As I'm typing this I'm realizing that maybe "Office 2019 + Mondo" is really just O365ProPlus+Mondo license (although it is being called an SKU). Which if true, brings another question: was there such thing as Mondo2016 SKU that was Office 2016 + Mondo? Or is this the same old Mondo that existed all along. What changed between Office 2016 and Office 2019 that we now say "Mondo does not exist for 2019". Sorry again for bringing this up
@l33tissw00t: ratzlefatz is correct, there's no Mondo 2019 SKU or GVLK for Office 2019, but only for Office 365 (2016), Visio & Project. Office 365 is from the family of Office 2016, that's why it's labeled as "Mondo 2016" after installation of Mondo licenses. Literal meaning of Mondo is "Many" , which further means, it is an SKU which could install "many" Office components. "Mondo" is the only SKU capable of installing complete Office suite (Office 365 with Visio & Project). Previously, Office suite or package also came bundled with Visio & Project, but then things changed and now Visio & Project are sold separately. Yes, it is the same Mondo which existed all along, which was (and still is) used by Microsoft Developers for Beta testing of Office products and to test Office user interface. This SKU has been prevalent since the birth of Office 2010. Edit: Corrected the mistype. _______________________
Thank you for responding. Curious in understanding more (sorry if it's too much).. So which is it: Mondo all along was just for Office 365 Mondo was (is) for Office 2016 and Office 365 - and we are using it for "2019" by using it with 365 It sounds like you're saying #1, but would just like to confirm (mainly because of the fuss that there is no Mondo 2019, which is misleading to me as acc. to #1 there was no Mondo 2016 either - although you did explain the reason for that at the end of your first paragraph ).
@l33tissw00t: 2. Mondo is currently for Office 2016 and Office 365 with "ProPlus2019Retail.img" as a source. Office 365 possess all Office 2019 features, that's why we are using it instead of Office 2019. Please note that, through "MondoVolume" or "O365ProPlusRetail" product ID, we are not installing Office 2019 on Windows 7 or 8, but Office 365. Yes, there's no Mondo 2019. Currently, there's "Office Mondo 2016" and previously "Office Mondo 2013". Currently, Mondo has two product IDs flavors : "MondoVolume" and "MondoRetail". The name of these two IDs remain static and never change. What these two product IDs are going to install depends upon the source. ____________________
