[DISCUSSION] Microsoft Office 2024

i wonder, this is happen to me too
and i use 2024 channel & Final license
maybe that is the reason ?

 

So what's the details of error 30088-27?
anyone checked the logs?

 

I got the same error that seems to be common to many Office users as far as I know from researching the problem. I've now reinstalled Office another version so we'll see how long it lasts. I installed first the 2024 Preview it threw an error for a while. I used the MS recovery option, same error. Installed then Office365 took a while again same error. Switched back to 2024 on another channel yesterday same error today. This seems to be becoming an intractable problem. I will try it on a clean Windows to see how it behaves.

PS. I install the Same Office 2024 Preview on clean OS and it works without error. How long we will see.

I can confirm this. I had the same error when I downloaded Office 2024 direct from M$. Decided to reinstall via Office Tool Plus and Office updates fine.

 

today, I tried this Office Tool Plus after seeing some ppl are not having this issue installing Office with this

Created & installed Office 2024 ISO current/retail channel build & after a reboot, it's the same error like earlier, no differences

Silly question BUT must be asked. --

Did you totally flush Office out of the system with Office Tool Plus option, then install Office 2024 again with the Tool. If you leave ANY RESIDUAL OFFICE 2024 after unijnstalling you will still get the same problem

I found that the v64_16.0.17830.20142.cab is corrupt, it cause the update failed.

The only we can do is wait for MS to fix the issue.

yes, totally flushed out earlier office installations with various office uninstallation tools including this Office Tool Plus uninstallation option as well
followed by multiple reboot after every uninstallation

still got the same error

 

alright, I'll check for the logs next time I install this

meanwhile, if anyone else trying to do so, can report the log as well

MS has fixed the v64_16.0.17830.20142.cab file. Everything works fine now. If any errors reported again, just let us know.

Data corrupt, when I trying to test it using 7-Zip, it report the error to me.
