Yes, you can but it"s going to be Retail, not VL (LTSC).

Why? If install Office from ISO above - it will be Retail, Office LTSC (VL) must be installed via ODT.

Is there any offline download link for LTSC installation file for ODT?
The last time I installed Office 2021 using retail img with ODT configuration to select which part of office that I don't want to be installed

I find it hard to believe that 4GB is a strict RAM requirement, particularly for 32-bit. Has anyone tried it in less to see what happens?

Update: Answering my own question, I tried 2024 (x86) on a 2GB RAM W10 (x64): Works fine, no complaints.

I need help in understanding what are the alternatives for Office.

To my understanding there are two options:
    • one-time purchase model (the one that traditionally existed since the creation of Office) with updates via the PerpetualVL* channel
    • subscription model via Microsoft 365 (originally called Office 365) with more features and more frequent updates via the SemiAnnual Enterprise / Monthly Enterprise / Current channels
It would be great if you could the following points.
    1. Is this right?
    2. Is it possible to install Microsoft 365 applications and get current channel updates with the activation (KMS_VL_ALL + C2R-R2V) not getting stopped by updates?
    3. Are there Microsoft 365 images for Visio Pro and Project Pro or can I install the ones belonging to Office 2024?
    Thank you!
