You buy a MS online product that includes 1 TB of OneDrive storage

 

This is how I fixed it finally:
1. Install Office 365 (2301 as that one is the last version supported by 8.1) and activate
2. Install Office Extender
3. Turn off auto update (Important, otherwise it will be updated to the latest version which is unstable on win 8.1)

Done!

you have plan to use 365 features ? buy a plan
or use volume license, and don't use 365

 

If you have used MAS script before version 2.9, get the latest and rerun it..

You can activate it by KMS_VL_ALL and it will get mondo 2016 volume license files and activated, else use MAS (ohook/TSforge).

 

Only paid subscriptions like Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium etc.

Thanks, I downloaded your thread and with the new install of Office 365, I used your procedure for Microsoft Activation Scripts MAS, and used the PowerShell for activated.win | hex, and it worked
Office 365 is now up and running.

Any reason why you didn't choose KMS and chose the MAS instead?

I personally would prefer to use Office 365 as it has some premium functions in Excel that are not available in 2024 and earlier versions of LTC. I don't know if the mondo 2016 version will include the latest 365 functions. Aside from that, I'm not aware of any differences using Word versus the standard free Hotmail/OneDrive version. Perhaps others can enlighten me?

 

Where do you get Office Extender?

And do you need it with Win11?

In other words, regardless of the Office Version you have, you can't get the STOCK IMAGES? (Not worried about the ONLINE IMAGES, but the STOCK ones are pretty handy).

 

Office 2019 and 2024 or 365 have this features , but this connect to network with hidden agent ( report os version and use tls 1.2 , if windows 10 + tls 1.2 good ) if tls 1.2 and os lower => blank fails microsoft block access by checking

 

I just wanted to state that you can install Office 365 up to v2410 on Windows 8.1 with Office Extender. I've tested newer Office Builds on Windows 8.1 ever since it was EOL. Even Office 2024 can be installed on Windows 8.1. The only problem is that OneNote stops working after v2311. Every other app works till v2410. After v2410, it is not actually Office, but the installer which encounters an Error while Installing. It will just not install and gives you an error - so maybe versions after v2410 are practically compatible, but I couldn't find any workaround.
