A few times after I installed Office 365 it did update on it's own when I forced it to check for updates. But it hasn't since. It says there's no update available. I'm attaching a pic of my version. Where can I find the link to the new "deployment method"?
"new" is somewhat redundant of words. Formerly MSI, now C2R (Click-to-Run). Like I said, check out the related threads. __ I think it is useful for you to use these functions in the Office(R)Tool. Code: [F] CHECK PUBLIC OFFICE DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS [U] CHANGE OFFICE UPDATE-PATH (SWITCH DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL)
I downloaded it the other night and Windows Defender didn't like it. It deleted it. I want to use 365 not C2R unless there's some reason why I shouldn't. I have outgrown the habit of playing "games" and wasting time on "puzzles". If you don't have a direct link to share, I don't see the purpose of your comment. Sorry, for being blunt. Not sorry.
You are confusing names. 365 is part of the product name. C2R is a product delivery technology. You can pack the file into a ZIP, RAR, packing EXE or MSI archive, but the file name will not depend on the packing method. C2R is the packaging method in this case, and Microsoft 365 is the name of the file. Read the official documentation on how Microsoft products are provided. ___ I don't provide this utility, so I see 5 alternative download links for the utility in its thread. ___ You have a way to check and change the update channel by other methods. For example, the Office Tool Plus utility. Her topic is also on the forum. ___ Or follow the official deployment instructions. Thus, you do not need to check the current settings. Only if you changed the update channel yourself, which means you can undo the changes in the same way.
I am after a bit of advice concerning Office 365 and app login. I have been using Office 2019 with local KMS activation for some time and everything is working fine. I normally have Outlook running all of the time in the background connected to 2 email accounts using a custom domain on exchange online. At the same time I can start any of the other Office apps without signing in. The app title bar just says 'sign in' which I ignore. I tried Office 365 activated as Mondo on a vm and find with outlook running and connected to an outlook.com account the other office apps connect to the outlook.com account as soon as they start up. If I then log out in the app a box pops up warning me about logging out. If I then close outlook and restart I am asked to re-enter password. Before I start using this with my 2 custom email account can anyone please advise if this is normal behaviour now and is it safe to leave the other apps connected without any activation issues. In case it matters I install and convert using Office(R)Tool but I activate using a command window and OSPP.VBS as I have a KMS server running locally on Server 2019. Thanks in advance
Really? As I already said^^^: For me the button "All Apps" on the ribbon is visible, but if I klick on it, there is a message "You don't have any Apps. Choose "Add Apps" to search and install Apps". That means: No posibility to add anything!
Are you saying you don't have a link like that "Get or add modules" (look at the picture, I don't have English, so I don't know what this text is exactly in English) Of course, you won't have any extras unless you've added them yourself. And it's also probably the case that if you don't have that button/link/option there, you can't add them, but why not, I can't tell you, maybe it's an update. NB! But it is worth knowing that most of these extras can be added for free, but in fact they are paid for use. Only a few are free and open to all.
Same issue here, add-ins is greyed out. I tried to make a 365 account and still doesn't work, it's something to do with Mondo version.
Do you use any Telemetry-/Privacy-Tweaks for Windows/Office? (I do!) Maybe this could be the reason. Office 365 with mondo licence also work for me, but we talk about the new feature Add-Ins/Apps. That's not worth it. To proceed a complete install of Office with all it's settings take a few hours. I have tried it at my pc at work (genuine/legit Office 365)...and it's like @kaljukass said, most Apps altough you can install for free, but for using them, you have to pay a fee.
Yes I use the tweaks, I can use add-ins but I have to install manually. I cannot click the add-ins button, it's very strange. I have tried on multiple PCs and same issue.
I am also trying to figure out why, selecting the PERPETUAL version, it is SO much smaller than just doing the 2021 version of ProPlus..... ---DS
It's impossible to get ALL(!) online benefits of O365 with mondo key. Mondo gives you the max. of possible benefits without legit license. If you want/need all online benefits, you have to pay for a legit license of O365.
