    I just got a Mac and still clueless about Office in Mac.
    Does installing Office then the VL serializer = activated Office?

    Yes after installing Office for Mac run the VL serializer, it's an automated process and you will get a message at the end that office has been activated successfully.

    I am trying to verify the checksum in the terminal (shasum -a 256) and it's not matching what is in the pastebin.

    I am new to mac, so it may be user error, but am I doing this properly?

    Hi,

    can someone tell me what the difference between BusinessPro and Suite installer is (at ...macadmins.software...)? Does anybody have serializer version 4?

    I have a friend using an ancient Mac that can't upgrade beyond El Capitan (10.11). I installed the last version of Office that supported 10.11 on there but the latest crack on here doesn't support his old Mac OS version (chicken egg scenario).

    I installed Microsoft_Office_16.16.18081201_Installer on his system and tried using SWDVD5_Office_Mac_Serializer_2021_MLF_X22-74226. I figured the latest would be backward compatible but nope. :)

    Is he SOL?
