hi guys, just a question coz i've read the entire thread but still haven't found what i'm looking for (as U2 would say ). I'm currently on Microsoft 365 (Family & Personal) build 16.0.14228.20324 Monthly Enterprise Channel. Will I get the new 2021 Office UI automatically after the product is officially released on october 5 just by downloading office updates or do I have to manually update the software/change channel/whatever? Thanks

Let's see how they do it, if they can. It is not for nothing that they divided them into different subspecies of products. Maybe LTSC is activated offline, and the regular version will be activated only from the official server. Limiting the work itself without the Internet is a dubious option, not everyone has a round-the-clock connection to the web.

I use this upper command and worked properly with Office 2019. Unfortunately with 2021 setup.exe don't execute this file.
Maybe previous version 2019 corrupted installation this way ?

 

This way can't install only these applications which I want. XML file is better for me.
