Hi guys, I don't understand something. I downloaded the official Office 2021 Retail IMG from TechBench), I installed it and activated it with the activator (latest version). When I go in the settings it says it's Office 2021 (OK), but every time I launch any Office app it say in the launch/loading window that it's Office 2019 (???). Do you know why and how to have a logic screen with "Word 2021" instead of "Word 2019" ? Thank you.
different versions.. Microsoft Office 2021 LTSC #RTM, RETAIL Version 2108, Build 16.0.14326.20454 Microsoft Office 2021 LTSC #RTM, PerpetualVL2021 Version 2108, Build 16.0.14332.20110
The retail can't be configured with ODT (Office Deployment Tool) though can it? Since retail doesn't use a volume key. LTSC hasn't been updated and probably won't be since it's LTSC. Maybe LTSC won't get this ribbon.
i think, it can. use current channel. see here. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...t-office-ltsc-2021.83412/page-17#post-1693974
Hello, With OfficeRTool, I downloaded and installed Office 2021 retail version 2109.14430.20270 then converted to volume and activated via KMS. In account, the apps are well activated. But when I launch an application, I get this message: Your license is not genuine and you may be a victim of software infringement. Avoid any interruption and protect your files today with the authentic version of Office. What should I do to stop getting this message?
Open an Administrator CMD and change directory to the below path, type the text and enter: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16>cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:0.0.0.0 Restart Office and all should be fine.
Today I performed an update to my Office 2021 LTSC (Update Options -> Update Now). The weirdest thing is that it updated from 16.0.14430.20276 to 16.0.14430.20270 !! Yes, from 276 to 270, I actually used the calculator to confirm that 276 is bigger than 270. I have never seen office downgrading on performing an update. If you have OfficeRTools you can check the "latest_Current_build.txt" file to confirm that. All other releases increase in value, but not Current Channel (today).
ok, but the activation is done on my KMS server which is running on my NAS, so I need a real IP address for the activation. I tested the registry lines proposed by Zucrin and then I redefined my host for my KMS server and apparently the 3 lines from Zucrin are not modified by ospp.vbs /sethst: Result everything is ok.
Added most ISO links i had available, all SVF files and some svfsfx file links, will resume tomorrow https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...t-office-ltsc-2021.83412/page-20#post-1694942
Hi guys, I apologize in advance for the probably stupid questions I am asking, but this whole topic about MS Office editions and activation is totally Nepal Katmandu dialect for me (no offense to Nepalese peeps), even though I am not lazy to read the forum. What I am curious about - are these images: HomeBusiness2021Retail.img HomeStudent2021Retail.img connected to those two MS Office 2021 editions respectively: Office Home & Business 2021 One-time purchase for PC and Mac Office Home & Student 2021 One-time purchase for PC and Mac and if yes, these editions CANNOT be activated via the KMS method since they require genuine serials which are checked against Microsoft database? The reason I am asking is that I want to avoid for the time being any LTSC editions of Office 2021. In this line, are retail Standard and Pro versions of Visio and Project also not LTSC editions, or they are? Is it correct that ALL volume license editions of Office, Project and Visio 2021 are LTSC? Thanks a lot to whoever takes time to address these questions - I really will appreciate it Best!
@assenort Yes no, they don't have any volume (KMS) licenses or keys if you don't have retail keys for Office 2021, then you must convert/use the Volume flavor (aka LTSC) no, retail SKUs are simply Office 2021 yes, all volume SKUs are branded as LTSC, except Project
