Yes mate, sussed it now, see post above yours. As mentioned there, there will be other ways to do it but this got me there for now.
This thread is for Office 2021 not office 365. You can not (as of yet) get the new UI on 2021. Correct me if I'm wrong. There is no insider channel yet.
This is an office 2021 thread NOT an office 365 thread, point them over to the other thread and stop de-railing it.
No, I'm using the new YAOCTRIR to install, if you install 365 Retail on Current Monthly channel, KMS VL All, then apply the reg key, reboot and update it doesn't convert to Fluent UI. You are indeed correct sir. Post amended.
Add Link to your new post too Because I open minded And this is good way too in the end both ways do the same job
[Guide] How to get New Visual Refresh | Page 2 | My Digital Life Forums I'll re-cap it again, Office 2021 does not yet come with visual refresh it doesn't work Microsoft hasn't enabled it. Only for Office 2019 and Office 365 insider channels. If it does correct me
It at least is a link But i assumed there was a dedicated thread called Office 365, but it's available by using an office configuration tool like YAOCTRI(R) with any of the Office ISO/IMGs available, isn't it?
Can we convert “VisioProRetail” to Volume or I should remove and install “VisioPro2021Retail”? (Or even “VisioPro2021Volume”)
Afaik, there is no licensing difference between the suites. All should be able to be installed with vl licenses by using YAOCTRI or when by activating using KMS_VL_ALL.
Is there a definitive answer as to when/if the mica ui refresh will be available on LTSC 2021? I downloaded and installed using "Office 2013-2021 C2R Install 7.3.3", selected "Current channel (retail/RTM), v2109, build 14430.20298. Applied registry edits in "ExperimentConfigs - ExternalFeatureOverides" for every product. Only Excel got the new mica UI refresh.
Off-topic can someone zip/share the file from latest Beta/Insider build? thanks Code: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Licenses16\pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms
why stay in LTSC channel, when most features like visual ui for example, are in current channel that update more often with latest features
