Problem solved by Installing retail version with x86. No luck with volume license. Anyway thank you for your fast response.
My apologies if this has been asked before, but can someone please explain the difference between "MicrosoftLTSC2021" and "PerpetualVL2021" when downloading with YAOCTRU? Everything I can find seems to indicate that LTSC *is* the "perpetual volume license", but that's obviously not the case. I get slightly different build numbers with each option. A second question: I'm going to be updating strictly manually (offline). Do I understand correctly that I just download the latest full source (using whichever of the above options is "right") and put that in the location that I've set as the "Update Path" in Group Policy, and then the C2R service will pull whatever it needs from there?
I just heard that the C2R-installed Office LTSC will not get updates from WSUS. This is totally crazy. How do people handle updates for it?! If I understand right there is no other option than the C2R version? This is in a place that could not use Windows Update, only WSUS.
I don't know about what or where did you hear, but I have Office LTSC 2021 C2R on 4 or 5 computer and they all get all the updates absolutely regularly and haven't had any problems with updates never.
I have an issue, but maybe I missed something... On my install of office 2021 LTSC, I cannot enable online experience in privacy options. States it's been disabled. Because of this I cannot use online features such as embedding video from youtube into a powerpoint presentation. Is this expected behavor from LTSC or am I missing something else? Thanks
Some user parameters, global configuration may block access to functions. Think about what was changed not through the Office interface, whether tweaks were used. You can uninstall Office, apply a scrubber, manually remove leftovers in the registry and in the system (if the scrubber left something), reinstall. I can’t say for sure, but tracking blocking in the OS can also affect.
Thanks for your prompt response. I took your advice and looked into some of the tweaks. It appears that disabling office telemetry also disables online connected features. Once I reverted those telemetry tweaks, it worked fine. Guess I can't have the best of both worlds on this one. Thanks again & take care!
Is it possible to enable word dictation in ltsc version? I know that is available for 365 users. Maybe some registry edit? Or I need to install different version of office.
Same question from my side. I now have 365 at work and dictation is cool. I tried at home on LTSC with "Windows key" + H, but got an error message (I have a French (Belgian) Windows 10 installed). Does it work for some of you on LTSC ? Does it work on 365 with Mondo activation ? Or is a (paid) regular 365 compulsory ? Thanks in advance to share your experience, Bill
I hope this is the correct place to post this, my apologies if it is not.... Tried searching for this but could not find anything on point (which I thought was surprising…) so here goes: Is it possible to convert an install of Office LTSC Pro Plus 2021 (KMS_VL_ALL_AIO-45r) to legit Office 2021 on Windows LTSC (1809, KMSpico 10.20)? If so, how can I do it while keep my data files (outlook, macros in excel etc) working? Do I uninstall Office 2021 first? Just install over it? Any suggestions would be appreciated. II can't be the first one to buy one of the $40 Office 2021 promos and had a Office (and windows) LTSC from here right???)
Delete current KMS settings and reset activation. If you purchased a Retail license and not an LTSC one, then install add Retail licenses. If the GUI is more convenient, then I recommend Office Tool Plus. Spoiler
