[DISCUSSION] Microsoft Office LTSC 2021

hi i've installed 2021 on windows 10 ltsb and i get aytomatically the new layout.is there a way to rollback to the old one?thanks.

 

Install 2016 or 2019

I don't know what the problem was. I redid everything step by step and suddenly it works.
Something went wrong somewhere.

Up to now, I have always had Office installed automatically on my Win installation USB stick. 2021 Home & Busniess Retail.
I have done this very often - but it no longer works. I use Yaoctru 10 + Yaoctri 11.1

I then have the approx. 3GB Office folder, C2RR_Config_20240928-1825.ini and YAOCTRIR_Installer.cmd

Normally just run the CMD and it will be installed.

Unfortunately, nothing happens except that the CMD window opens (see screenshot).
Taskmanager CPU utilization at 0% for CMD and Office Click2Run. The CMD window stays like this forever... must then close it in the task manager.



Any idea what the problem is? Thank you.

 

Why not use the 2024 Office 365 from image or 2024 LTSC?

 

Currently running Office 2021 LTSC with ohook and thinking about 2024. Can I do a side by side install of 2024 with ohook and delete 2021 if it runs correctly ? Thanks in advance

 

Not advisable to run two Office version applications on the same machine considering registry settings are installed and shared to the same registry location with both application versions.

 

if you install 2 different type of licenses
it will use only one of them, not both

 

Plot twist: 2016 > 2024 are all the same version, it can't coexist with itself

Possible to mix office 365 enterprise and

"publisher 2021" single apps ?

Anyone can install Publisher 2021/2019 single
but it will not get any updates

 

Would anyone see an issue if I uninstall Office 2021 LTSC running ohook and install Office 2024 then run ohook again ?

 

Use OfficeScrubber after a normal uninstall. This will clean up any leftovers that will interfere with the activation of another product. I just don't see the point in using a one-time release product rather than 365 for the selected activation method. 365 (subscription or its emulation by the designated method) supports wider functionality and release of updates.

 

I'm not well versed in Office. Please see attached. I can update 2021 so I'm not sure how to get to 2024 updateable.

I'm running Office 2021 LTSC with ohook and looking to update to 2024. Can you point me to the most appropriate version of Office 2024 ? Also MS seems to have removed scrubber ? Thanks again.

choose perpetual volume 2024 channel and choose product , after install use ohook

More easy install and custom choice like product to install or exclude , and if you choose retail product you can choose channel like monthly , monthly enterprise or semi-annual ( the best for retail product and stability ) => choose this for office 365

For office 2021/24 => the best are volume perpetual ltsc
