DISCUSSION: Office 16

Office 16 is not mentioned in 2.1.15 event.
It seems like office 16 is the foster child of Microsoft.
Since office is almost perfect, people don't complaint over office and Microsoft don't pay attention that.

O16CTR_ProPlus_16.0.3327.1012_x86_x64_en-US.iso doesn't install on Windows 10 Preview 9926. Goes to 95% then shuts down.

 

I had 3327 installed on build 9901, which I upgraded today to 9926. Office functions perfectly well in this fashion

 

Sorry, I'm new to office 16 but thought I would try it under the latest version of windows 10. It installed fine but when I went to set up outlook I noticed there was no exchange server support or at least I couldn't find it. Has it not been included yet or am I just not not looking in the right place for it?

Ok update time.

I've been messing with scripting most of the day. I've added some future proofing so that if Windows 10 is detected it will install Office 2016 instead of 2013 or 2010. Now regarding the repo I'm going to probably link the Windows Activation in depth to it because that is exactly what office 2013 is licensing wise.

 

Office 2016 Theme Colors

Are the theme colors in Excel 2016 the same or different from those in Excel 2013?

I'm referring to the theme colors for fonts and cell shading - not the dark gray / light gray / white UI theme colors.

Couldn't install it on 9926 tried all f**king ways possible and nothing someone that could? I tried with the latest build and using configuration xml file and nothing it just start like 30 seconds and disappear

 

lol it is Office 2013 with a half a tit and another in a ringer. Nothing IMO worth seeing atm.

 

It really is a million miles from anything people would leave 2013 for.

Come on people you always expect leaks and bits of information and when it's time to get something that MS mailed directly to members of this forum we have radio silence...

 

I had problems installing Office 16 too. Tried cmd, disabling firewall and so on. And you know what worked? Simplest possible way of all. Just mount .iso and depending on your system, run "setup32.cmd" or "setup64.cmd" as administrator (right mouse click --> run as administrator). That's all.
