Thanks that worked for those two files. Now I've got another problem: I've managed to get 26 files but the last one which is this: c2r.microsoft.com/ConsumerC2R/en-us/14.0.4763.1000/ConsumerC2R.en-us_14.0.5138.5 I get a 404 error when going to this link. The 404 error I get: Please could you give me this file, thanks again.
i tryed Office 2010 Starter long ago on my netbook, god this thing is horrible... worst s**t they ever did, really.. I LOVE Office 2010, but this starter thing works horrible, its virtualizing itself and creating some sort of virtual partition and some other deep s**t O_O) Don't waste your time with it ^_^ It's not even fast, get the real deal or openoffice/softmaker
The only thing about Office 2010 full is that I find the fixes too complicated. Activate this, reset that, I mean can someone explain to me if there is a fix which just works without you needing to be a rocket scientist? Something simple and easy would be great. To be a bit more specific, Can someone answer these questions please: 1. What are the differences in the latest fixes available? Like KMS, re-arm, 180 days what does it all mean?? 2. What fix would you recommend? 3. Will Microsoft detect the fixes? 4. I seem to have the Office 64-bit Pro Plus + Visio + Project Pro, will the fix work with this. Thanks.
1. There are two major ways you can "activate" your office 2010. -> Via KMS: The means you need a volume edition of office 2010. It then activates via your "own" kms service -> Via re-arm: This means you keep your office 2010 in "trail mode". It rearms every 180 days. 2. Personnaly I prefer the mini-kms activator. Just klick activate and choose install as service. I does everything for you and you will be fully activated. Some antivirus programs will give you a pop-up saying it is a hack or trojan, but dont worry. It is clean! 3. Microsoft will not detect them. You can update, download templates, ... 4. As mentioned before, you need the volume edition of those programs. for example search for this file: 14.0.4763.1000_Select_volume_ship_x64_en-us_dvd.iso it contains all office programs including visio, project, ...
I quite understand you but let me tell you something, things an't bad or good anyway. It's all on you. Should be strange perhaps but "NOTEPAD" is one of the best. Just have a look to your needs.
I've got a newly bought laptop which came with Office 2010 Starter, in Portuguese (Portugal), which I cannot download from the available links in this topic. Is there a way I can get the files and bakup the Starter version making it work in all computers?
Anyone have all languages of office 2010 downloaded and can share it with me? I am trying to save myself from setting up a program to auto-download all of the files.
Windows Developer Preview? I'm trying to get this to install on the Windows Developer Preview but get the error message stating it requires Vista SP1 or newer! Does anyone know a way around this? I have tried running as Admin and various Compatibility settings with no success. Cheers Jon
Hi. I installed Windows 8 Developer Preview. I really want to install office starter on it, but I can't. Could anyone help me? Thank you.
Well I tried the method of changing the descriptor.xml file as posted in another thread on here but Starter always say's its corrupted so until MS decide to update Starter to run on Windows 8 which I doubt they will anytime soon, the short answer is you can't.
