[DISCUSSION] Office 2010 Starter

I tested it offline and everything works fine, though it continues to copy files after the installer disappears. When its done, I receive a message stating that it can be used offline even though it was never online.

 

Is possible to get an updated (to the last version) setupconsumerc2rolw.exe in italian language?

Unless there are people on here who still have them & are willing to help by uploading, it's now increasingly difficult to obtain the other languages SetupConsumerC2R.exe file other than the English version which is far easier to get, I trawled through the web yesterday looking for other languages to help people who needed them, but all I managed to find was the Polish & 2 Chinese versions.

Anyone got this to run on Windows 8 Consumer Preview?

I tried but the apps won't run

They added the 6.2 entry into the Descriptor file but still doesn't really help.

 

after having spent 2 days to get it working, finally here is how I got it :

After installing office starter, go to start screen and run Microsoft office starter to-go device manager...
When opened, the application will download some components, wait till it finishes then hit close.
now run windows update it will find 1 update after downloading, installing it
Restart your pc
Now run word or excel it will work like it should

does anyone know how to make this starter version, to run as full version with outlook installed as well ?

ehmm, okey. Does it mean I need to re-download a new copy of either standard / professional office? Can I just activate the current fresh installed office

starter edition ( from new laptop) with the tools like Ez Activator?

 

office starter you do not need to activate. They give it free, but it loads ads.

All links appear to be dead for the file named SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe. I have the 33 files downloaded but apparently need this one to install. I need the english version. Anywhere I can find this file? Thanks.
