Hey guys I'm a OEM partner so you can ask for files from me.

Yes, but no RC....Only Consumer Preview Language Packs and downloads and extra product keys.

Actually, if you go download the OEM Preinstalltion Kit version of Microsoft Office Starter 2010, it won't install in Windows 8 Consumer Preview because of compatability issues. However the c2r.microsoft.com version worked fine.

 

Most likely because MS haven't updated the version of Office Starter in the OPK yet, it'll still be an older incompatible version.

I've copied all these files into one directory and added this file 'SetupConsumerC2ROLW-en-us.exe'
to start the installation, but nevertheless I get this fault:

"The files required to Setup Office Starter 2010 cannot be loaded. Check your Internet Connection" !!!!

I think one or more files are missing, to install Office Starter offline.

 

Check the post above yours it has every file needed to install Starter, I did a fresh install early this week using those links.

Go through and check each & every file, one might have not been fully downloaded (happened to me a few times, especially the biggest 300MB+ file), also I doubt this is the cause but rename "SetupConsumerC2ROLW-en-us.exe" to "SetupConsumerC2R.exe"

Create a new folder on the Desktop or somewhere & copy them all in & run it again.

 

NO need to download anything at all, as long as you have internet connection, run SetupConsumerC2R & it will do all itself

but what I still want to say : I've installed MS-Office 2003 Prof SP3; if that matters.
