    Probably one or more file was damaged.
    I think that, during install, SetupConsumerC2ROLW retry to download the file damaged

    Retry to download all files, if it's possible

    Nice, or just use any decent download manager (jDownloader, FDM etc)

    There was a problem setting up Microsoft Office Starter 2010.
There was a problem setting up Microsoft Office.Try running Setup again.
If the problem continues,contact Microsoft Product Support.
    Anybody has an idea?
    All the info on the web is unrelated

    Never had that issue, you sure all files are downloaded OK?

    last time i downloaded Office Starter i had some issues grabbing all the files as well, just keep retrying, eventually it downloaded all files files

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but till now I've download all files 2-3 times (once with wget and batch script, two times file by file), and all files are here in same folder together with SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe (v14.0.5115.5000) but I always get the same message:
    What I should do?

    Is there any office starter download tool already available? I was thinking about writing one that downloads the XML and all the files linked in it... suggestions are welcome.
