Does anybody know if Microsoft is going to make Service Pack 2 for Office 2010 available through Click-To-Run for this Office Starter 2010? I know that the official Microsoft download for Service Pack 2 for Office 2010 shows that it also applies to Office Starter 2010, but it obviously fails to install since this Starter version is done through Click-To-Run. I can understand this Starter version being a lower priority to Microsoft, but I do hope that they update the Click-To-Run installers to include this service pack. Also, Thank You to everyone here who has kept this information going for the Starter version and also the Office 2010 Starter Offline Setup Tool as well. I hated Starter at first. But as soon as I figured out how to bring back the Comments feature in Excel Starter, I was a happy camper.
Looking for 'microsoft_office_2010_opk_dutch_pv6.zip' It's the last OPK with office starter. I think with the version you can install on Windows 8.
Hello, I am searching for Slovenian (sl-si) SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe file. Can someone help me please? Thank you in advance.
Asking another question . If I have 6009.1000 setupconsumerc2rolw.exe (it-it) and all files (from packageproperties.xml and descriptor.xml) from 6137.5006 it can correctly install the last version?
Yes, the older file versions of setupconsumerc2rolw.exe do still continue to install correctly with the latest setup files when download separately. I don't know if that will always be the case in the future, but at least with the current version 6137.5006 and previous versions it has continued to install without any problems.
Thanks for putting together these Starter iso's and for sharing them. I'm sure these will make it a lot more convenient for a lot of people. Great job! I'm still hoping for SP2 for Starter but not getting my hopes up too high. Although they do technically still have to support Starter until 2015 or so.
Unfortunately I haven't tested it with Windows 8.1 so I don't know. Maybe when that Starter patch from the other thread is applied to setupconsumerc2rolw.exe it may work and also when run as Administrator. Hopefully I'll get a chance to test that out in a few days.
Still nothing since 6137.5006 update a while back. I'm still wondering if they will even update with SP2 or not.
