Well, I guess its your choice. Which external USB video adapters have you eliminated to base your decision to have quality over content?
wmcv11 and hdhr-3cc are plugged in to an 8 port switch with no internet. wifi has been disabled on wmcv11. start test 11:50pm 12/25/2015 Note to self....use port 11 on powerconnect, to reconnect 8 port to internet. I just noticed a possible "switch issue" may have been the cause of my "no tv in the morning issue" wmcv11 was plugged into port 3 on the PowerConnect. 8 port switch was into port 11. hdhr was into 8 port. check port 3 (might have been port 4) log for error
In my case it is not an option as the Vaio tap 21 is an all-in-one with a built-in 21inch display that I would like to watch drm channels on. A USB adapter would have to drive an external screen which is not something I want. I just hope someone is going to find a way to patch the system to accept display port for copy once drm channels.
Well WMCv11 seized up again. Not sure why. It was not connected to the internet but around 18 hours later I looked at the screen and it said Viewing or Listening Conflict. I checked a couple logs in event viewer, and my guess is that there was some kind of HTTP DRM check to M$, v11 wasn't able to get out so it stopped playing. Reboot would not fix it. WMCv11 would not start until I gave it some internet. Once it got internet the Viewing and Listening Conflict Error just went away, the tuner tuned the channel and the channel started playing. Is there a particular event viewer log I should look at?
(Translate with Bing) -> I would like time to your work that thank you you so 10 to integrate makes great effort to the Media Center in Windows. Wish everyone have a happy new year 2016. Ich möchte mich mal für eure Arbeit bedanken das ihr euch so große mühe macht um das Media Center in Windows 10 zu integrieren. Wünsche allen noch einen Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2016.
According to the above your finding looks like the mechanism works in a reversed way respect what I guessed. Internet isn't used to disable it, but to keep it enabled. Just like the "dead man button" on train's locomotives. Where the pilot needs to push it every minute or so, to demonstrate he is awake, or the train will stop automatically. In that case, I'm afraid the logs would be not so helpful. Almost surely that communication happens in an encrypted way and emulate the mechanism would require a real guru of the matter (not me ).
I just set Ver. 11 up on another PC. I have all the channels now on both PC's all 127 Windows 10 Pro 11082 AVermedia H826 USB Hybrid ATSC/QUAM
Is there a Blu ray plugin that will work with this version of media center that can be used to play blu rays?
I just tried tmt. In win7 tmt installs as a WMC plug. In WMCv11 it won't plugin for me. Try Power DVD
I was unable to find the Event Viewer Log to describe the Wireshark conversation between 192.168.1.132 (Win10) and 64.4.54.254
Ok so im a total noob to this project. I followed the download/install instructions, when i go to setup live tv it says Tuner Not Found, i have 2 HDHomerun Primes, how do i fix this any/all help is very much appreciated.
Reinstall/repair install your tuners, then run Tuner Salad then run MCE TV setup and benefit from 6 tuners. Without Tuner Salad you can only use 4 tuners
Ill give it a shot, i didnt run tunersalad as i wasnt sure if it would mess anything up, ill give this a shot and report back.
So i have this running now with all 6 tuners, tunersalad helped it alot i didnt have to uninstall/reinstall WMC for 10. Tunersalad got it to start looking for tuners but then it was only finding 1-3 tuners it was weird, i uninstalled hdhomerun software and got the newest and installed it, found all 6 its working wonderfully. thanks for the tip
Hi, works well with 1 tuner in the latest WINDOWS 10586 I had to uninstall and reinstall MEDIA CENTER wiki
