I may try that, but everything is working anyway. The warnings in the event viewer were only warnings and the scheduled tasks ran fine (there was no need for the 'exe' extension on the action when running the command when the task executed). Am I right in thinking that running the uninstaller twice will remove all your settings? Running uninstall once uninstalls the DSIM packages, and running it a second time performs a manual cleanup....
Oops, sorry, I see my problem with the download. I'm downloading the v12.7. The truth is that everything was going well before the update of w10 spoil it all. frankly do not understand the obsession of microsoft we execute avoid wmc
click v12.... Mega.... Browser v12 is the new version. .7zip is the file extension like .rar or .zip When you get to WMC, Spanish can be selected like the picture. I used the remote control "OK" button
I don't really know. This is my first time with v12 Also first time I had to uninstall/boot twice, with any version. I have no errors or warnings. Click on v12 in my signature and read everything up to today, might reveal an answer to the settings question.
Thanks for your interest. But I'm afraid that we have not understood. What that tells me is how you change the language tv channel and I meant wmc menu.
I get the same error trying to connect an XBOX360 as an extender... Also, a more general explanation:
My Firewall is turned off. I was able to get past the WMC Event 538 after installing the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app, for whatever reason. In any case the WMC Event #538 also causes the same generic application event #1000, which shows up under Applications in event viewer right after my 538s.
Just tried the above, and looks like the /dx9 switch alone is not enough to run WMC trough a RDP session. Maybe it works on a Remote FX session, but from my POV, unless one windows setup this way for other purposes, the effort isn't worth the result. An additional VGA dedicated to Remote FX on an server running h24 can raise the power consumption and the electrical bill in a perceivable way. Months ago I asked to the great Graznok (the author of the actual patches) to look to remove the checks for the RDP sessions. Those patches anyway didn't work for me, and surely had to be further investigated, that approach looks way more promising to me, but the drawback is that we need a "Graznok level" hex editing guru to accomplish the wanted result.
Not sure if this is what you mean, or if this is the result of the Great Graznok removing the checks you mention, but I have overcome the Multiple Remote Desktop Connections problem.
