Nope, the directory was there with the previous build. Now it is gone, and running the WMC patch does nothing.
Hanging around to see if we get´s a fix for the extender issue / version 12.7 or not. If not I will try to follow meluvalli´s "to do list" getting it to work (#3950). Any forecast for a potential 13 version crash9000 ?
thanks. i didn't install them all at the same time so hopefully i haven't made too much of a mess. that download link doesn't work. it redirects me to some bad site and downloads the wrong file. Have you got another host link for v8 ? thanks
Sorry for messing with your name crash2009..let´s see what happens, I hope for a extender version with 360. It´s for me the only remaining issue, all others works fine and I do not have the mess with versions, install/uninstall etc. Probably because my W10 is fairly "clean", I just upgraded when it was free to do so from W7Pro 64 to Win10Pro. My version is 10586.164 / 1511.
That's fantastic. Is there any possibility to get WMC to install (side load) and run on Windows Phone 10 like a Lumia 950 or 950XL?
I figured out how to get it working in this latest insider build of Windows. I have Windows 7 on another hard drive and I am presently dual booting. So, I just copied the entire ehome directory into the Windows directory of Windows 10. Then I ran the uninstall.cmd with admin privs, and finally ran the install.cmd program. Now it works as before. Still doesn't let me download the Guide schedule, but at at least I have WMC working in Windows 10.
Well after updating to Windows 10 Pro from 8.1 Pro with MC I really had no issues with WMC. I didn't even have to reinstall my HDHomerun. It kept the settings and drivers. First boot to updated 10 after installing Ver.12 with admin priv. went right to same startup as 8.1. I didn't need to run setup at all. This doesn't seem like the norm at all. About 2 hours later I did have to reboot my HDHomerun and I don't know why that happened, but it is still working. I do have a couple questions about what I see above: T-S - How did you get the logos and 4 lines on the small guide? My small guide is only 2 lines and I hate that, 4 would be so much better. What tool are you using for these? Any help appreciated.
It's MyChanneLogos. The logos injection works in any version, the custom guide and miniguide grid works since the V12
Answer is simple, NO. Only Universal Apps (Windows Store Apps) works in all Windows 10 devices like mobile. There is no way to run desktop apps in mobile. With Remote Desktop connection maybe.
Please forgive me for asking questions without reading all that was said before, but there is so much it would take hours and hours. I'm running the current version of Windows 10, and installed Windows Media Center v10.0.10134.0, which I found on an Italian blog. I then installed the Shark Advanced Codec to get the Live TV to work. So far so good. My one big problem is that the guide won't download. The version you have here seems to be later than what I installed, but what I have is working fine, so unless it fixes the guide problem, I'm not sure I should tamper with what's already working. Are there important advantages to the current version that I'm not aware of? Most important, can anyone help me with the no-guide problem? Thanks very much for your work on this, and thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.
