I copied the blocks, individually, pasted them into the command prompt. Pressed enter a few times when running each block (In otherwords, copied one block, pasted into command prompt, enter twice, then repeated with the second block). I had errors. How can I paste the errors here? They're lengthy and I don't want to type them over again. Should I have rebooted after previous steps, would not doing that have caused errors in this step?
are you talking about the ngen's and so on put on pastebin? all you do is right click, download them and name them ngen64.bat, then run the bat file as an administator -- I saved it to a folder and ran the .bat file from an elevated command prompt from in said folder
Just realized that the files posted by dejong are from the build 10036 while the ones I used are from 10134. That matters, almost surely, given the different behavior of the original builds: the older was able to get the listing, while the newer had them explicitly refused.
OK sorry about my earlier post with my masked link, I finally figured out how to save my Output to a text file. This happens when I run the ngen.bat file: Code: RegAsm : error RA0000 : Could not load file or assembly 'ehRecObj, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A) RegAsm : error RA0000 : Could not load file or assembly 'ehCIR, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A)
ok, got it to run but I, also am stuck on the downloading tv data, now if I add my recorded tv folder from my media server I get a decoder error when trying to play a file. UPDATE: temporarily fixed it by installing lav filters. also to note this is using a surface 2 pro
So, we need to have the files from build 10134 to have no lock ups at the guide downloading part? Wasn't 10135 the last version to have WMC? By the way, downloading guide data just works on build 10036 with WMC enabled so I don't know why it won't work now.
