Doesn't change the result. It will not detect the Ceton TV tuner. v12 doesn't install, v8.6 does (and I can play existing recorded TV and do whatever else fine) but when trying to set up the TV it simply gives you a 'no tuners found' error. The Ceton diag software reports everything working fine and it is able confirm it can tune channels.
try uninstall the tuner and tell it to delete the drivers reboot, start media center close media center install the latest drivers reboot start menu centre and setup the tuner
Did that....How about you install the "Anniversary Update" and try to see if you can get a cable card tuner working ? It appears I am not the only one by far... CRAP
Hi. I try just for fun an get both TT-connect CT2-4650 CI and Anysee e7 t2c to start searching in WMC after Anniversary Update. I cant look at any channel (didnt have any active subscription) but thy both find channels. MCE 8.6 installed as described in earlier post.. ubbe
Nope. As a CC user we are screwed at the current moment and just wait and watch live tv on other boxes.
David must have been busy on a different project, and not had a chance to read TOFnow and mwpeterson Insider reports during the last month and a half.
anyone else having issues after the anniversary update? was working flawlessly, but after the update i get a policy error. just started sfc to try and correct it.
No way to have wmc still working after an in place upgrade, no matter the windows version. Just uninstall and reinstall (and clean the settings data if necessary)
DISM Error: 0x800f0922 Hi there, could someone pls explain, how to reinstall 12.7 after trying 8.6 (which detects no CC)? CCleaner won't help. Many thanx in advance. Terz
I had that problem too, I just uninstalled it, rebooted and reinstalled it was fine, Just make sure your files are "Unblocked" before extracting...
Hi T-S, many thanks for your work, but 8.6 won't either work with CC on fresh w10 from last year. tried it also. any suggestion to get rid of dism error?
Install v12 and uninstall it with its own unininstaller, then install and eventually uninstall the v8.6, with its instanller/uninstaller. (all with the necessary reboots in between). Then you should be able to install the v12 again. If not, try sfc /scannow. If you're still messed up, uninstall the wmc, mount again the win10 iso and relaunch the setup for a new in place upgrade.
Sooner or later they will force the upgrade. Home first, then pro, then enterprise. The only way to stay relaxed for 10 years is to use the LTSB
installed 2015 LTSB turner found and setup TV guide updated but no picture any codex or what ever need installed
