Thanks, I've set mcupdate to wake up, but I cannot find mcupdate_scheduled between all the tasks. I've also set PvcScheduleTask to wake up, but when I try to run it, I get an error 0x80040154 (2147746132) Class not registered.
The tasks in my pack are already localized, they are generic xml i got from installing the wmc package using dism
You're welcome ! P.S. I think that you included your half patched ehtray in your package, not the one I posted right after it. It happens that yours works on some machines but not on others. If you update the package please update it as well.
Hi folks! I managed to get WMC working on W10 thanks to all the clever people on here. I even get Emby (the former MediaBrowser server/client) working fine again, it looks as good as on W7. So thanks to everyone once again. However, I do have one issue using Emby. I want to use MPC-HC as an external player so that I can play subtitles on any file type without having to load any codec packs or extra filters etc. The usual way was in an Emby configurator program that enabled me to input an external player of choice. Unfortunately, this isn't working. Every time I open the program I get a Critical Error and then the program closes. The error is basically saying that "microsoft.mediacenter.ui missing". Can anybody assist with this please? Kind regards, Cog.
Alright, I will update that too. I still can't get it working properly. When I schedule a manual recording I can see something happening in powercfg: Code: Timer set by [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\ehome\ehrec.exe expires a t 21:19:59 on 6-9-2015. Timer set by [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume5\Windows\ehome\ehrec.exe expires a t 21:29:59 on 6-9-2015. When I schedule a recording with the guide, nothing like this shows up. I've set mcupdate, mcupdate_scheduled and PvrScheduledTask enabled to wake up.
It's a MediaCenter store related error. I never see it before. Try to reset Media Center database, or try to uninstall all Media Center and reinstall it.
Looks like something is missing in registry. Class not registered could be missing keys in HKLM\Software\Classes. Process Monitor can tells what is missing.
Looks like some awesome progress. Are there any known limitations / open issues at this point? Has anyone tried this with an extender?
This is what Task Scheduler says: Code: Instantie {689dbecb-c2a4-4e46-81e4-821918a65b94} van de taak \Microsoft\Windows\Media Center\PvrScheduleTask voor gebruiker NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE kan niet door Task Scheduler worden gestart. Aanvullende gegevens: foutwaarde: 2147746132.
For information purposes, I installed Windows 10 build 10240 in VMWare. I updated it via Windows Update. Then I installed Windows Media Center. I tested it, and it opened. Then I upgraded to Windows 10 build 10532. Most of the files for Windows Media Center were removed in the upgrade. I reinstalled Windows Media Center, and there were no problems, errors or issues.
