you could cd to c:\ and run this "C:\Windows\ehome\ehrecvr.exe" not sure you would see anything though
I did not bridge the Ethernet adapter to the InfiniTV. See screenshots 1 & 2. I don't know what you are referring to. Perhaps that add-in is used with the InfiniTV 4? Ceton Diagnostics does see the tuner. It seems that when first started it says that no tuner is found, but after about 30 seconds it does find it. See screenshot 3. When viewing http: //192.168.200.1/ in a browser, the Tuner, Cablecard, System, Tuning Adapter, and Log tabs all show normal information. BTW, if you have a tuning adapter, you may need to enable the VM to access it via Devices | USB. My Copy Freely channels don't seem to require this.
error 0xc00d271d = A problem has occurred in the Digital Rights Management component. Contact Microsoft product support.%0 lots of luck with that
Yeah, good luck! If you guys don't fix this CC soon, Hendrix and I are going fishing again. Found a nice little spot to watch the Olympics. I have some other displays that work with no help.
I've tried in Chrome and IE but all I get is a 0 byte file if I choose to NOT use the "downloader" (but I didn't try it so don't know if that works). Any chance we can get it uploaded to a different host since they seem to have broken their site?
Use a decent browser like Vivaldi, with a good adblocker like Ublock origin, set the browser to always ask for the download folder, avoid to click OK blindly to any random download request, and you will be safe no matter where you are navigating. Alternatively use a download manager like Jdownloader, copy the download link from the address bar, and let it download the file. Don't forget to always check the file extension, and to set windows to always show them, the file above is a .7z not a .exe, nor everything else.
Thanks T-S, that works fine I used Firefox (v48, with Adblock and Ghostery) and downloaded safely from Zippyshare. Windows Smartscreen flags everything downloaded from the internet as potentially harmful. Right-click on the file and unblock in properties to turn this behaviour off on a file-by-file basis.
Here is the deal with the DCA and 14393 1) You go up in the Extra's and click on Digital Cable Advisor. If you don't have it installed a download will start...its about 6 megs. 2) Then you run DCA. This will test your system and give you a Pass (Hopefully) 3) Then you click on UPDATE SETTINGS with the UAC icon on it, and click yes. 4) Next thing that opens up is this Media Center Add-in see Pic 001. The add-in resides at C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAG_MSIL\UpdateMachineForDigitalCable.exe If you click on the Show information about the publisher's Certificate, it takes you to a different screen. I believe this is the component that is not working in 14393. Have no idea how to fix it. 5) Opens up the Details Tab in Pic 002 This Certificate is intended for the following purpose(s) Ensures software came from the software publisher Protects software from alteration after publication Issued to: Microsoft Corporation Issued by: Microsoft Code Signing PCA Valid from: 11/1/2011 to 2/1/2013 6) Opens up the Details Tab in Pic 003 and contains details such as: Version Serial number Signature algorithm Signature hash algorithm etc 7) Opens up Certification Path in Pic 004 which contains: Microsoft Root Certificate Authority Microsoft Code Signing PCA Microsoft Corporation Do you agree this is where the problem might be? Normally, after this step, the CableCard, Tuner, and WMC, starts working.
Those Certificates apply, whichever build of Windows you are running. If it was a certificate problem you'd expect it to fail on older builds of Windows too, wouldn't you?
Hi, In my case with the HDHomerun I cant even run DCA - it throws an error, I haven't had the chance to play with this today and try to start the 3 services first that you mentioned before, is that what you did first?
