Agreed. Why is this even a discussion ? If you don't like where it's downloaded from, DONT download it. If the creator decides to upload it to one place, it was their choice, you should not be complaining on that. Then the discussion of using 7z vs zip, Really ? Is this computer basic school ? Maybe it's me but, when I first build a personal computer, after all the dreaded updates, then it's media codecs so I can play everything and then WinRAR so I can open everything.. Venting done, this subject should not be discussed any more in this thread. This thread is about WMC, not about a hosting site or a zip file format. Please end this.
A big thank you to T-S for such an excellent fix to WMC on Anniversary edition. This saved me hours and subsiquent stress.
this worked to get WMC to launch, still getting TUNER NOT FOUND, is the ATI TV wonder -Digital cable card tuner work under W10?
its the external version of the 2nd one you posted (the DCT), http : // missingremote .com/legacy/img/stories/News%20Images/March%20News/ati-tv-wonder.jpg (Sorry, it wont let me post links yet) it has the latest firmware, and it also shows with no X or ! under device manager under network adapters "ATI TV WONDER DIGITAL CABLE TUNER"
running version 10586.545 i downloaded the insiders preview, but didnt install it, if i cant get this to work im going to revert back to windows 8.
"Congratulation! Your system is already configured to work with digital CableCARD tuners. ....... etc" live tv setup just gives me the "Tuner not found The TV signal cannot be configured because a TV tuner was not detected."
ive yet to find a driver package for the tuner, windows installs it on its own, ive tried re-burning the firmware, doesnt change anything.
Very tasty. You just might have killed three birds with that stone. Oh, you found the USB model. In that case you definitely got three birds with one stone.
None of those appear to have Cablecard, unless I missed something? (And by that I mean the slot for a cablecard to be plugged in.)
